If I had stopped watching the film before the last scene, I would have given it a 5. But the last scene made me realise that I truly wish I had someone that special with whom I could live forever, when at the same time I know it isn't possible. So the film gave me a melancholy feeling that very few films did.

Not a fan of The Twilight Saga, and wouldn't recommend them, but I liked this one.

Pretty much if you HAVE read the books, you should like it. If you HAVEN'T read the books, you most likely won't. I've read them and I love it. But that's just me :-) It's my favourite section of the books.

This final movie of the Twilight Saga was definitely the best one in my opinion. And that doesn‘t mean it was all that good, but at least better than the first four movies. It started kind of slow and really only got better in the end. The big battle had some good moments and the end was kind of nice. What I really liked was the very last scene with Christina Perri‘s spectacular song „A Thousand Years“ and the end-credits that were some kind of a tribute to the whole cast of the Twilight Saga.

That CGI-baby was absolutely creepy. And every time someone said Renesmee I lost like 3 years of my life. But Chief Swan gave them all back to me, so that's good. The movie got considerably better after the first third when all the other vampires started to show up, and honestly, the fight scene was pretty epic. I was actually sad about all the deaths, and while it kind of felt like a cop out, I'll take my happy endings where I can get them, and it resulted in the two most badass moments in the entire series, Bella tearing that guy's head off and Alice's look coming out of the vision, so there's that. So despite the fact that this movie has barely anything in common with the first one, it's actually pretty decent - the universe is quite interesting once you don't have to look at Edward all the time. I'd watch it again.

YOU NICKNAMED MY DAUGHTER AFTER THE LOCH NESS MONSTER?!!

lmao

the kid is so far in the uncanny valley, it really creeps me out…

I love how the fight scene is basically everyone just pulling each other's heads off. That almost made this worth watching.

Welp!.. bye boner... Thanks Twilight

Fans of the series...I mean, single teenage girls will enjoy the final installment. It has the same elements of the other movies that made it so popular, so there's nothing to complain about with fans of the series. It's just not my cup of tea, but, who am I? I'm just one person voicing his opinion.

Despite the fighting scene being silly, I enjoyed watching it. Probably my favorite moment from all of the movies. But this is still mediocre at best.

I like this saga because of what makes me feel. Haters gonna hate.

This movie felt like one big monotone conversation, really not worth watching, even just for the sake of it.

The kid is so freaky, why is everyone in this movie acting like she doesn't look like a child version of a barbie? Seriously that's disturbing. Just as disturbing as the books btw, what with Jacob's gross 'impregnation' (hello, this child will never be able to grow up alone and choose a partner!! this isn't cute!) and them believing living forever in a gift (?????). Bella is just as mediocre as before except she can now hide her lack of personality behind her spectacular gifts and Edward still has the personality of an oyster, and seems unable to act as a parent. Also nice pedophilia joke about Jacob being Edward's 'son-in-law'. So funny! We're not AT ALL talking about a child there!

It's not THAT bad. Heck, I rated it up simply because it wasn't the continuation of Bella's pregnancy from BD part 1. THAT was bad. It's not going in my keeper pile but I wouldn't put it at the bottom with some of the losers I've watched in the last couple months.

Jacob goes from insisting he’s not a pedo, to joking about calling Edward dad:nauseated_face: Bella didn’t punch him enough times.

there are many interesting vampires in this movie but unfortunately it's not actually about any of them

A great finale for this drama filled unique fantasy romance as Bella is now a vampire and its everything everyone could hope for. It starts right where #4 left off and the theatrics begin right away. Again the plot development is spot on as they did a nice job to set up for the antagonist of the plot. It would have been nice to get to know the villains a bit better and the scenery was not as grand this time, but still the finale kept the audience on its toes even more so than the previous 4.

Ending on the highlight of the series is a nice reward for sticking it out! A lot of action, ties of things better than expected, and I didn't not enjoy it. Still just an average movie overall, but the highlight.

Rating: 3/5 - 75% - Worth Watching

This is definitely my favorite movie of the Twilight saga (followed by the first movie as I love origin stories plus it was really good regardless).

Bella is finally a vampire, we saw much more of their super cool powers and unique gifts, lots of great moments, we even got an epic fight (that luckily didn't actually take place!), and got a very beautiful ending.

My favorite characters are:

  • Alice Cullen (my favorite character :D)
  • Carlisle (and Esme) Cullen (Carlisle is so cool and powerfull (though his family and connections); Esme is so sweet and caring)
  • Benjamin (he has cool powers, a very nice character, and Rami Malek plays the role so well)
  • Edward, Bella, Jacob, and Renesme (duh)
  • The rest of the Cullen's family (Emmett can be quite funny)
  • Aro (he's kinda bad/evil but just too fascinating (and amusing) to watch - the actor seems to convey that role really good)

The Twilight Saga comes to an epic conclusion in Breaking Dawn - Part Two. In this final chapter the Volturi assemble their forces to destroy the Cullen clan after getting word that Bella has an immortal child; in response, the Cullens attempt to rally vampire clans from around the world to come together to make a stand against the Volturi. The script does a solid job at adapting the novel, and the performances are fairly good. Additionally, the film delivers some of the best fight sequences of the entire series; as they’re extremely well-choreographed and intense. A strong finish, Breaking Dawn - Part Two provides a fitting end to Bella and Edward’s story.

Since I saw Twilight 4 end in a chain, I put on my Twilight 5 to see how it ended again and I liked it more, perhaps because I already knew what was happening, because I saw it in VO. That if Bella still has the same face of smelling like shit

Many new vampires are introduced in the movie but they are barely seen. The Jacob problem is quickly solved in an odd way and we can see that everything is rushed at the end as if to finish as fast as possible. It results in a disappointing final battle considering how much it was hyped. However, the acting is better and I like the Volturi.
This franchise is not as bad as I thought it would be but it's clearly not a masterpiece and it's really long, slow and boring. If you're a fan of romantic love stories you might like it but as a whole it's not well done.
