Loosely inspired by Agatha Christie's "and Then There Were None", Gumnaam was a well executed suspense thriller with the right blend of other Bollywood elements like comedy and songs.
Interestingly, the film climax makes use of the Russian Roulette game a decade before Salim Javed immortalised it in Sholay (1975).
Gumnaam makes a good one time watch with family. Incidentally, I watched it with my family back in DD National days when I was a kid, and now rewatched on Hotstar. The film still retains its charm like before.
