The Vow 2012

Serviceable film, but the female lead is pretty unlikeable and unrelateable, even to the point of scoffing at herself when she learns she had decided to become a vegetarian. And she somehow needs proof that she married her husband on purpose? (She's still sceptical even after said proof is provided.) She is constantly undermining her "future self" and yet I'm supposed to believe that all it took is for her to learn that her dad cheated on her mum for a complete character change and again for history to somehow start repeating itself.

I'm a sucker for romantics but boy was this a terrible watch. The female lead's character was very unlikeable and uncooperative given the circumstances. The Male lead would put in all the effort while the female lead just wants to go back to how things were which is pretty annoying. I would not recommend watching this.

This turned out to be better than I expected. I went in with very low expectations. It's certainly better than the average romcom (it's not a romcom). While the plot is somewhat familiar this particular plot is actually based on a true story so the reuse of a common trope is not so bad.

A little cheesy but nice way to see two people fall in love again

The film was very good and emotional, especially the scenes that Leo remembers from the past. The only thing that seemed annoying about the film were the paige criticisms of its own future, such as its vegetarianism or style.
Although the film was made from reality, it was not a boring.
Starring Rachel McAdams beautifully, the film as a whole was great. I loved.

I'm very disappointed in this movie... I was expecting more than what I saw.
But it's a good movie, a little bit too slow considering how I was expecting it !

I realized, as I began to watch this, that I'd watched it before, but, considering Rachel McAdams is in one of my favourite RomComs, ABOUT TIME, and I was in the mood for some romance, I gave it another watch. Rachel was engaging, as expected, but I found Channing Tatum a little awkward. I probably gave this a 7 (good) out of 10 on the first watch, but, I'm settling for a 6 (fair) on the second time around. Interesting concept - if you lost all memory of the one you love, would you love them again - just not a convincing connection between the two of them. Always good to see Tatiana Maslany on film, for any size part. also, Jessica Lange and Sam Neil.

Coming from a guy who doesn't mind seeing chick flicks; it wasn't that bad, but also very predictable.

Channing did all he could to make this movie pleasant, and he did a good job on his side. But the female lead played by Rachel is too unlikable, makes you dislike the movie in general.

a story we’ve seen before without any new takes :woman_shrugging_tone1: easy watch if you’re looking for a reliable story lol

I liked the movie but in the beginning she is acting really bad and it’s really irritating :/. Further it’s an enjoyable movie for a night

this is one of my favorite movies. Rachel & Channing are the best when together. Rachel The Notebook and this one and Channing Dear John and this one. they were born for this type of movies.
