Tiger Claws 1991

I'm not going to lie...I kinda love Cynthia Rothrock. She's probably one of the most badass women ever to appear in martial arts movies, and you know you are (mostly) in for a treat when you see her name on the poster. Doesn't hurt that she is rather attractive as well.

Anyway...Tiger Claws is pretty decent...if you like the generic martial arts movies of the early nineties. The fighting is good, and even though the lines are delivered in the "stilted" fashion you usually find in these assembly line B-movies, the movie seems well directed. The story, on the other hand, is not the best, but it doesn't really matter as the martial arts keep you entertained throughout.

...and Bolo Yeung as a bad guy? Works every damn time...

It's been a long time since I saw this last. I used to have the VHS tape, and I haven't seen it since I stashed all my VHS away in the mid-nineties. I remember liking it, and that hasn't changed. Some low-budget martial arts goodness is never wrong. Especially when you get some Cynthia Rothrock badassery as well.
