For eons they traveled the galaxies. For centuries one was trapped in a Pharaoh's tomb. Now he is free.
From deep within the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun, Professor Douglas McCadden ships the coffin of Ankh-Vanharis to the California Institute of Sciences where X-rays reveal five diamond-like crystals hidden within the coffin. Technician Peter Sharpe steals the crystals but doesn't notice that the powerful X-ray has revived a green fungus. When the coffin is opened at a university press conference, the reporters uncover more than they bargained for. The mummy has disappeared... and the Time Walker is alive again!

As seen on "Mystery Science Theater 3000," I have the presumed fortune to have the original version available on the series' episode's DVD. (In that episode the film's entitled "Being from Another Planet.") For those not familiar w/ the episode I hope you don't mind the spoiler alert, where the damn TV movie title reveals it. Good one, Film Ventures International. Anyway, the movie proves to be an incredible bore with an unlikeable cast. (Sorry, Shari Belafonte, but I only remember you in a SlimFast commercial in the 80s/90s.) & the plot is unintriguing & confusing. Usually as a "MSTie" I enjoy TV movies lampooned on the comedy. "Time Walker" ain't one of 'em. (or "Stranded in Space" but that's another story) Also this is the least-enjoyed full-length movie brought to me by MST3K compared to "The Pumaman" & "Manos: The Hands of Fate," movies also available on the DVDs.
