It was atmospheric, romantic and very light. I loved how they shot scenes and soundtracks. Felt really short, not like 2h movie.
Was a bit sad that Stormy was cut out and was left only for a few minutes total. Also was waiting for red cabriolet scene and was disappointed that these beautiful scene wasn’t even included!!

I remember liking the first one but this felt so childish, appealing to girls. First of all i think Jean was an awful person. Acted like a child and maybe this movie was not for my age. I like rom coms but again this was bad and not interested at all. I know there is a third movie but now i'm very torn on if i want to see it.

Premise - 12/20 - Typical high school stuff, it seems.
Cast/characters - 17/20 - Yup, still love Lana Condor! The old favorites are also back and still enjoyable. A new love interest for LJ, and one for Dad. Both of those characters were likable.
Story - 15/20 - Worried through the front half, but it turned out pretty solid.
Dialogue - 13/20 - As you'd expect from a high school rom-com, but the serious stuff was good.
World-building - 11/20 - Nothing special here, but I love the Song-Covey family!
68/100 - 3.5/5 stars - In some ways better than the first. Good watch.

yeah so i hated this movie. I actually read the books before the movies came out (yeah I'm that person), and I thought the first one was a terrible movie... but boy was i wrong. This move was just boring. Theres just a bunch useless stuff and random shots and it felt like they kinda freaked out over their increased budget and just used it on random shit. This movie would be great to watch while doing your homework , because you actually don't need to pay any attention to this movie and you'd still be able to follow the plot...oh wait...theres no plot to follow. Finished this one at 10:40PM. ..
