Incredible true story, amazing scenery, good acting, superb film!

The most boring movie ever.
One wouldn't think that a movie about a woman who aspires to walk across the Australian desert would be really interesting, but this movie really was enjoyable. Much (or all) of the credit for this goes to Wasikowska as she is perfect for this role and she absolutely hits it out of the park. The film really spoke to my own desire for both solitude and accomplishment like few other films have. I think that if this film weren't based on a true story that it may have tried to add in more unnecessary conflict or drama - as it was it sat right in the sweet spot for both.

This movie is an adaption of Robyn Davidson's memoir recording her 9 month journey across the Australian desert.
Tracks is the true story of Robyn Davidson, a 27 year old woman from Brisbane who decided to embark on a 1,677 mile trek from Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean, crossing the Australian outback. She embarked on this journey in 1977. Robyn did her journey mainly alone. Her only company were her four camels and her faithful dog. A group of aboriginals didn’t want Robyn to do this journey alone and advised her to complete this journey with one of their elders. Robyn only wanted solitude.
It was a tear jerker, that made me cry. It was filled with many moments where she doubted her ability to complete this journey. Robyn met a few different characters that live and thrive in the isolated outback of Australia.

THIS AN INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL FILM!
I enjoyed the movie very refreshing :) loved the scenery and camels and I think this was somewhat a true story.

I wish we could’ve seen her do normal day to day things more. The entire movie it’s the same thing. Even though I expected way more I still enjoyed it. It’s well done.
