Whether you love him or hate him or just find him extremely annoying, Joe Rogan was a terrific addition to the analyst team for the UFC. As a mixed martial artist himself, Rogan has a wealth of insight into the fight scene and can call play-by-play on the matches like few others can (and quite honestly, no one who preceded Rogan had done). He can be very excitable - thus the reason some can't stand to hear him calling these matches - but I find it very refreshing to have someone (1) this excitable about the world of MMA fighting and (2) someone this knowledgeable about the sport. Rogan has the in-depth knowledge to call the fights as well as to explain to the average viewer what is happening, the potential for what can happen, and WHY. For an uneducated viewer like myself, who has very limited knowledge of martial arts, Joe Rogan's explanations are a wealth of knowledge that can often explain why something just happened.
Along with the addition of Joe Rogan, this particular card had some decent fights on it. The light-heavyweight fight between Chuck Liddell vs Vitor Belfort was definitely the proverbial "icing on the cake" and the post-match interviews just added that extra "zing". This was definitely worth watching.
