I've not seen a lot of Francos filmography, and thought it was time to dig a little deeper. Why not start with one of the ones many talk about?!!!?
Vampyros Lesbos ended up being exactly what I thought it was. Gorgeous to look at, with little meaningful dialogue, and a lot of visually "trippy" scenes. Might be a tad boring if you are of the tiktok generation, because it is a bit slow, but there's always something to look at and enjoy.
Might not be for everyone, so read up on Franco before you try this one, but if you think you like his style of films, this is about as good as it gets.
One thing though...I think Shaw Brothers sold some of their bright red fake blood to Franco, because I swear it looks exactly the same.
