a good ol' romcom. the third act conflit kind of fell flat for me but I very much enjoyed the movie
This is a joy to watch and even feels like it's an episode from Marvel's Ms.Marvel (a giant filler one for middle season).
Great and very interesting I must say it.

Plays out exactly as you might expect complete with dance number at the end. Missable.
Another spin on the Bridgerton plot. Not a bad way to spend isolation.
It's great to see romantic comedies being made about other cultures.
That being said, this movie is terrible. The writing makes me wonder how it even got picked up by Netflix. A lot of the plot feels like the script was written by someone cheating off of another person's script, just with a few words changed, to the point that it doesn't really make sense anymore.
Tried sitting down 3 times to give it a chance but still couldn't finish it.
Don’t waste time; just like any other movies.. nothing special.

This was the most perfect romcom I've watched in years - had me giggling and bawling my eyes OUT. The fake dating? The chemistry? The cheese? The banter??? Perfect. Perfect. PERFECT.
