A fun diversion from the other high body-count violent Spaghetti Westerns that came later. This one was easy to watch. Even the soundtrack was excellent: Chorals, whip-cracks, etc. The "hero" gunslinger who shows up on the doorstep of an inocent - while she is being terrorized by the evil land baron. Of course he has renounced violence and gets kicked around a bunch - until the climactic duel at the end where he demonstrates his amazing skills. It holds up even after 50 years.
