Where’s Poppa? 1970

"Just like his Poppa...his pecker was this big," as Ruth Gordon wraps her hand around the base of her other index finger. So funny. George Segal's character had so many nails stcking out of his Mom's bedroom door frame from trying to keep her from wandering off -- well, locked in her bedroom while he went to work. Really like Monty Python, the way he imagined himself in full knight's regalia upon meeting the woman he has a crush on.

I saw this at the $2 theater, prolly a year or two after it came out...think I was in fourth or fifth grade. Ruth Gordon was able to embarrass him in front of his date, who'd come to dinner -- actually able to bare his ass to the woman -- she had a look on her face that was at once both motherly and lascivious!

I later saw her in, "Harold & Maude," and what a great primer for that this was!
