Only giving it a 6 instead of a 5 because the (few) fight scenes it had were pretty good. Rest is boring...

Fight scenes are cool rest if the film not
Not that wild and Statham's not much of a card so...
Generic and fairly mundane, Wild Card is an underwhelming action film. When one of his friends is beaten and raped Nick Wild, a private security specialist, tracks down the man responsible and helps his friend get her revenge. Jason Statham leads the cast, but gives a pretty rote performance. In fact, none of the acting is particularly good. And the plot is unfocused, shifting between three seemingly unrelated storylines. Wild Card is mildly entertaining at times, but overall it’s a rather forgettable film.
Far from a masterpiece, but by the end I certainly didn't regret the viewing.
Tucci's late appearance I think has a lot to do with it, and the two better fight scenes being in the dying stages of the movie. And while the plot wasn't anything truly special, it held together well enough to get to the end.
I would absolutely recommend this over Hummingbird if you want a Statham movie to waste away an evening with.
Usual Statham movie. Decent, but don't expect more from that.
Jason Statham, actornot not much, delivering punches yes, only distributed here 3 times, loose
Nothing new nor original but good enough to have a good time.

must be Statham's worst movie. I usually like his movies, a bit of a story and some cool action.. this movie has too few of both.. hardly a decent story and only 3 decent fighting scenes and no action between them.. really nothing, zero, none.. gave it a 3 because of the fighting scenes but those were the only highlights of the movie and if you just fast forward to those then you've seen the best parts.. the rest is worthless..
