The past will always come back to haunt us! This is just one of the messages in this interesting drama but in its portrait of a conflicted man, it sometimes falls short in its characterisation of Makwa.
This one was weird and interesting. Acting was good, but I felt it's too much disconnected.

[Filmin] The film is effective in its representation of the denial of identity. Makwa's character rejects his origins to adapt to white society, which allows him to have opportunities, not end up in jail like his friend Teddo. It is the best that it has a story that sometimes does not fully delve into its proposal. And it is also a pessimistic view of Native Americans, so few participants in that inclusive cinema.
