Typical of '60s Looney Tunes shorts, Woolen Under Where is not quite as rambunctious or as funny as those made in the '40s and '50s. Still, this cartoon manages to have just enough of an edge to it that it's still fun. The relationship between Ralph and Sam remains odd, but that's the draw of this sheepdog vs. wolf series. I don't know if this is the last of the shorts that featured these characters, but if it is, it can take a bow for a job well done.
