I don't think this movie does justice with the designer and the struggles he's been through. Like being treated in the psychiatric facility, in the movie it looks like he was too soft for the army and got mad, but it was much bigger trauma. And the issue with the fact that his mother didn't protect him when he was beaten as a child could have been explored further, and was contradictory to her approval and praise of him. Generously, the movie made him look kind of shallow in my opinion, as well as their relationship with Berge which obviously was much deeper in real life. I think both of them wouldn't like their depiction, in terms of the script. The actors were great, though.
