I'm a sucker for these sorts of low-budget sci-fi movies. Love the cast here. Not exactly a great movie that has much new to say, but I enjoyed my time with it nonetheless.
leisurely paced and deep movie on AI, relationships and drug addictions.
Predictable. Redundant. Boring. Would've been a complete wast of my time if it wasn't for Ewan.
No matter how many films he's done, whenever I see Theo James I just see him with that bit of shit on his nose from the Inbetweeners movie.
The second part of the movie is garbage and doesn't make any sense; the writers failed to develop an interesting conflict and advance the story.
I liked everything about the movie except for it's attempting to play the robots are people too card.
Human being needs must always come first, so the robot needed to be told what to do, not allowed to make choices.
The man was aware he was dealing with a robot and not a person, so it didn't make any sense when he failed to take control of the machine and the situation.
Instead of reprogramming or issuing commands, he turned to drugs.
We are forced to watch a man develop a drug problem instead of just telling his robot what to do.
The existence of robots makes no sense if they are not just tools for people to use. Anything else, and we are just creating more problems on the Earth.
No one should be in a corner crying, "I turned to drugs after my robot left me....."

Yawnsome drama - the concept of humanity's relationship with AI is overly familiar now, and while well made, there's little here to appeal.
