Arik Arbel is a cop with an attitude. He tries to find the balance between his demanding job, being a parent to his son and his problematic relationship with his ex-wife. Together with Arik in the unit serve Moti — an experienced field cop, Arik's loyal friend Ezra — a nerdy old timer, and Alex, a new and highly motivated female cop. At the core of the first episode a shattering event occurs that shocks the unit members and leads Arik to an act that will change his life.
The body of a young woman is discovered in an orchard. All signs indicate that this is a murder to safeguard family honor, but the unit can't find a witness to help them identify the guilty parties.

Arik and Alex investigate a brutal murder of an Ethiopian woman which turns out to be much more complex and mysterious than they thought. Lital takes advantage of the investigation to get close to Arik.
Arik and Lital are sent to a forest up north to imprison an escaped convict who has joined a band of illegal hunters. Lital uses the opportunity to get closer to Arik. Alex discovers that in order to protect Anatoli, she needs to bend the rules.
A serial killer escapes from prison and Arik and Alex are sent to imprison him. Ezra discovers that he is being followed, and the Sheinberg investigation turns out to be more complicated and dangerous than expected.
Arik and Moti search for a burglar who stole a computer from Yahli. Arik, riddled by feelings of guilt that he is responsible for Yahli's injury, scorches through the whole city of Jaffa. Lital and Arik get close and his secrets are exposed. Sheinberg starts acting against the reporter covering him.
Ezra discovers that Arik is connected to the gun which shot Babayoff, causing Arik to initiate a deal between them and increase the pressure on Sheinberg, while the price may be the life of his source.
The hitman sent by Babayoff follows Arik to Avigdor's farming community. Alex tries to get Anatoli to help Arik. The investigator Sharon Even Tov pressures Lital to close in on Arik, and Sheinberg does everything in his power to stop the police.
Arik and Moti investigate a crime organization that deals with trafficking women. When Alex joins the investigation undercover, against Arik's better judgement, the whole investigation becomes complex, undermines everyone's' relationships, and endangers Alex's life.
Arik needs to save Alex from the crime organization that has kidnapped her. He is determined to imprison Babayoff at all costs, and manages to find a witness against him, but Babayoff has a few more surprises up his sleeve.
Arik and Mori investigate a crime organization that deals in sports gambling. The investigation gets complicated when Moti finds a source, a boy who knows the business from up close. In the meantime, Danny Bababyoff's life changes in prison when he turns religious.
Arik brings Anatoli in for questioning under Babayoff's nose. He only has a few hours to break the Russian mobster and he will do anything to do so. On the way Arik burbs out Berkowitz, Lital, and his failing relationship with Alex.
A suicide bomber is approaching Tel Aviv on the way to a terrorist attack. Arik and Moti must stop him, despite the fact that they are busy with the Babayoff family investigation and it isn't clear if Anatoli is going to help them or is playing them. Lital gets entangled during a stakeout of a mysterious Mexican criminal.
Everyone's waiting for the huge drug deal that Babayoff is planning. Ezra is appointed to head the operation, and Arik is anxious that he will interrupt his plan and discover Alex's secrets, while Anatoliis worried that Babayoff knows about him. Everything will explode during one night.
