Eh... pretty lackluster episode. Jack's weird interrogate-while-hugging was ridiculously dumb and silly. The big reveal was information that we (the audience) already knew, and is completely irrelevant to the plot at hand here. It was obvious the father was going to keep factoring in, because of the way they kept showing him. Why would CTU let him talk to Graem alone and unsupervised?? Incompetence for plot convenience's sake.

On the other end of things, it was pretty obvious that Morris was going to be the engineer in question. It wouldn't be a plot point if it wasn't someone we were familiar with.

This episode is carried by the emotion of Jack's interrogation. He tortures his own brother and in a desperate attempt to trick Jack he tells the truth.
Not the truth Jack was looking for but Graem's role in the assassination of David Palmer which catches Jack completely off guard. Sadness quickly turned into anger and, in one of his best performances in this show, Kiefer sells it beautifully.

And when I say this whole interrogation sequence carried the episode, I do mean it because Walid's side story went literally nowhere and it was a big waste of time. The only thing that story contributed, and I'm using the term loosely here,, was Sandra's conversation with Wayne but they could have reached the same destination without the filler.

Despite that I still think this was a a great episode because Jack's story in this more than makes up for its short comings.
