They're doing a good job displaying problems we have with immigration, both bureaucratic issues and in showing the shape different personal biases and narrow minded prejudices take. Supergirl does this too, but with Supergirl the treatment is often too on the nose, too heavy-handed.
Predictable except for the very ending. I love what they're doing to Señor Uhl's, Ricky's, and Lucy's characters though! Really made for an otherwise meh episode.

I don't want to be the one saying "I told you so", but I actually told in the pilot, that Varvatos is the traitor . What kind of backstory will they come up with for it though, I don't know. But I'm eager to find out.
Also: to my surprise, the fake robot parents proved to be the possibilities of a myriad of jokes and fun. I'd be happy, if they would keep them.
