9-1-1: Lone Star 2020

Good so far but Liv Tyler brings the show down. Her voice is just so soft and low with no personality. Rest of the cast seams well placed.

Love it. This show is everything O. G 9-1-1 wasn't for me. Am I starting to stan Rob?

I’m trying to stick this series out because the original 9-1-1 is so good to me... this Austin version is lacking... I think it’s the acting and the storylines seem forced.

[Initial Impression]. Built on the star power of Rob Lowe and Liv Tyler, this series (Iike its predecessor 9-1-1) has little to do with real fire procedures and fire service related emergencies. The series will be a sensationalized crisis-of-the-week production, while slowly milking out the personal dramas of the cast of characters. Lots of unrealistic action, cutesy banter and soap opera, personal drama. They better establish some grounded, sympathetic characters soon or they will lose their audience. I rate this initial episode a 6 (fair) out of 10. [Dramatic Hyperbole]

Woke, far left, Hollywood trash.

I am going to fall in love too hard with this show. I've already cried my eyes out at least once and I'm a grown-ass man!

Overall I like the show except for multiple gay sex scenes. I think this show would be for someone who is gay or does not have children present. This show has a lot of potential and is well written otherwise. It has a great lead star line up and lots of action. The character development is very good and each one is very interesting and have great backstories. This show builds off the original 9-1-1 currently being aired on the same network.

I thought this one was going to be better then the other show after watching trailer, but was wrong.
I really tried give the first episodes a chance but It was so bad I had to stop.
The warning sign started in the plot with a massive story jumps.
So much "cheesy" scenes and to much of "unrealistic" events.
Can't recommend this show. Watch the Chicago series instead.

Enjoyed this. Initial on the first series I struggled to get into it and the Liv Tyler character was annoying but she goes and Gina Tores is much better! Pace picked up and its now on my watch rotation.

Great drama. Cast is unbelievable. Original storylines. Stands on its own and can't wait for the new season!

I see the status has been changed to ended...why!? Season 2 has just begun...are you sure?

Season 1 was great... good plots, strong cast... Rob Lowe and Liv Tyler made it.
First episodes of season 2... uhm, lost key characters without explanation. Corrected the show with totally PC cast, without developing the story, losing interest...

I just finished the 1st season. It was enjoyable to have a different approach to a 911 series I'm looking forward to season 2. It has potential of becoming a great series. As of Sep 23, 2020 the second season is delayed until sometime in 2021.

All in all it was ok... Not great but not bad. 9-1-1 is way better. The story line is somewhat genetic and boring. Honestly the whole show is kinda boring. However, season 1 episode 10 was amazing. Was going to rate the show a 4 but the final episode made me change it to a 6. I would say the show is worth a watch, just don't expect greatness and it will be ok.

This show is enjoyable but also gives me a feeling of having mismatched shoes.; you can still walk and still run but they will always feel...off.

I liked Rob Lowe's and his character's son's origin stories...but the rest of the time I'm not in love with Rob's character. We spend A LOT of time in early episodes focused on his hair...I mean, A LOT. It makes him come off as vain and having misplaced priorities instead of focusing more on the firehouse or his role as captain.

The son's story line is one of the stronger things in the show. His roller coaster story line made me sympathize and connect with him more than other characters.
