Finally a witches/vampire/supernatural show that aren't loaded with teenagers...not like anything is wrong with teenagers in a show but the maturity is welcomed

So far, so good...I can't wait to see how it develops!

Vampire arrogance from The Original meets pretty girl trying to escape her fate from Buffy.
Mixed with terrible acting, slow world building, uninteresting characters and on-the-nose exposition for the "stupid" audience, not able to solve 1+1.

Yet I watched much worse but nahhh, this pilot didn't convince me at all.

It is a delightful guilty pleasure for everyone who is a sucker for witches and vampires, as well as beautiful Oxford vistas. I love the looks of the library where Diana does her research. The main protagonist herself is quite likeable, the vampire is mysterious and perilous as vampires should be, and there is a lot of attraction between the two. Doctor Who's River Song as a witch is an additional enjoyable element of the show. If you are looking for some lightweight entertainment, this production may be a good bet.

I like the main character for not wanting to know anything about the supernatural topic, and I also like that they are not teenagers in high school / university, for now, we keep seeing

Ohh this is exquisite so far.
The setting... ah, beautiful. The language... Superb. The use of colours... the way she sticks out with her blue eyes and blue jacket, when the colours around her are so earthy. And the way the world is constructed, it being so natural for witches and vampires to just walk around - enchanting.
The scene in the library, between him and her was so tense I was breathing very shallow.

Off to a great start.

"What are you gonna do, rip my head off?"
"... I could. ... But that is not how I operate."

Arachnophobes beware the "sleepy bits" (next episode gets even worse, btw.)

A fair start... The acting is kind of bland though

I have read all the books and they’re wonderful and have watched the first season and was very happy with the characters in the story line I am looking forward to the next season I think this is going to be a wonderful series I am so happy they decided to put this into a television series I can’t wait to discover, The rest of the discovery of witches!

It's exciting to see the book come alive. I hope that this continues through all the great adventures of the books.

Fantastic season premiere. I loved it. I have a feeling this will be a great show. There need to be more supernatural related shows, tbh. Ones that are good, of course.
