There was an unexpected amount of cringe to this. Some weird and not very happy choices were made.
As for the premise of asshole magical guy/human girl, and after seeing this episode, I have to say Doom At Your Service did it SO much better. I'll watch a few more episodes, but I don't have very high hopes for this and the fact that it's 20 episodes is definitely not helping.
