The action takes place in Karelia (northwestern Russia, near Finland) in 1941 during World War II. In a beautiful and quiet desert far from the front lines there is an antiaircraft artillery post, made up of five young women. Suddenly they are surrounded by 16 Nazi paratroopers. The five women have to stop the enemy in an unequal fight.
