A woman kills herself, her husband and one of her two children (the daughter escapes) by filling her car with carbon dioxide. Years later, the daughter is taking a psychology course at university. Her tutor, Robert, takes his students to a performance by a medium, Alison Mundy. She tells the daughter that her dead mother is in the room. Utimately the daughter commits suicide. Her mother had "come for her" - to correct the mistake. Robert, now divorced, had a son, a toddler, who is deceased. At the end of the episode, the son comes to sit with Alison.
