People were complaining about the acting in episode 1. I kinda looked past that as it was the first episode and wanted to give it a chance basically only because of Anne Heche. But seriously, the acting took another nosedive in this episode. The daughter is cool and what the cliffhanger teases is intriguing, though. Feels a bit like Falling Skies in terms of atmosphere and character constellation. ...aaand that show wasn't going too well in my book.
