The case of Kurasawa Kanae (Housewife), who is a homemaker aspiring to become a manga illustrator. Her husband is in charge of finances; he forces her to make do with an oppressively low allowance. A beautiful homemaker Kodera Kiyomi is vexed by her cheating husband. While she is out gathering evidence of her husband’s affair, she comes to the realization of double-adultery. As a woman, she cannot bring herself to forgive Togawa Yuko who has a happy family of her own. Due to Hakamada’s legal counsel, she decides to sue Yuko for compensation, even while Yuko denies the illicit affair.

Saionji Fumiko (Housewife) had already decided to divorce her senior citizen husband, one year ago; she had to endure his moral harassment for decades. She has been saving up money from teaching flower-arrangement class, and has enough for the separation, to go live on her own. Her husband is a university professor, and his illicit affair with one of his students gets exposed.

Ichikawa Tomohiro has reached a breaking point in his marriage to a monster wife, and comes to the Law Office of Hakamada for legal counsel. Most of his salary vanishes in expenditures of his wife’s purchases of expensive brand-name items and extravagant spas. In the meantime, he endures her domestic violence and moral harassment.
