Thought I would check this out because of the high ratings.I was hoping for something like snowfall,something true to life but although it's watchable it's more like a soap opera aimed at teens,and definatley not true to life.I mean someone from Beverley hills just being to hang about Compton without getting robbed,shot or raped is just so fake.
I hope they don't cancel this show after a season. This is a good show. It has so much potential.

the football scenes are enjoyable the plot is good and this show has a great message. my only problem was that you could tell they were 18+ playing high schoolers since some have visible tattoos. Overall enjoyed this show and would give it a strong 7. I understand it's on the less realistic side with the neighborhood violence because it's a drama for teens.
