The Fuel Funny Car point s race is down to the last race of the season in Pomona. Ron Capps and the Brut Funny Car team battle for the championship. The Army team shoots for 7 finals in a row to put the icing on the cake of an amazing season.
During the offseason, we share some time with crew chief Alan Johnson, Ron Capps and other drag racing notables during a memorial celebration and fundraiser. Then Ron joins some friends on a motocross track for some fun in the dirt.
The drag racers return to Pomona for the opening event of the 2006 season. Rock stars join the Capps team as VIPs. The pressure is on for the family of the drivers to endure another grueling season on the road.
When horsepower and speed meet, things go wrong and when they do bad things can happen. The Prop teams all have their own superstitions that help them face the dangers of racing. The crews continue working to keep the machines running fast and safe.
