This season imo is THE best one. I can watch it an infinite number of times, it's that good.
This season was... not great. I really felt they had "lost the plot" in the middle of the season, sprawling in so many different directions that ultimately led nowhere.
Interesting season, did not really know what to expect but a solid season
In whole I liked the season. My favourite ofc is Jessica Lang. She is such a great actress, though at times her performance was a bit over the top reminding me of the bland remake of A Streetcar named desire she was in together with Alec Baldwin. I didn't like the ending so much, and I definitely hated the episodes where they stole/took the music from Coppola's Dracula. Dracula is thousands times better movie than this and hearing the same intense music here is annoying. Imagine you are watching some series about fishing with Dr. Paul and... Suddenly - Bam: tum-tum-tum-tum-tum - "jaws theme" - what would you think?
Excellent incorporation of the Winchester home, The Others and Sixth Sense influences (that I recognize). This is more like a 7 since I like the way everything concluded but I give it a 6 because of just how absolutely annoyed it made me throughout the entire journey with so much ridiculousness and consistent lack of common sense in the way the main characters reacted to everything from the get-go. I realize that's a kind of cliché in horror, and may have been a reason in why this felt more fun to watch with someone else, but it prevented me from getting invested in any way so I have to say this one just isn't for me.
To be a first season, it's good
