Okay, so I guess the aliens, Arden’s experiments, the devil who possessed people, and the flesh-eating monsters were just in the story for literally no reason? There was genuinely no point to them whatsoever, and each of those storylines went absolutely nowhere… I don’t know why these supernatural elements had to be here if there was no reason for them in the story?? Why couldn’t it have just been a creepy and sickening story about abuse in an insane asylum without all that ridiculousness. It would have actually been scarier without all the weird stuff, in my opinion.
the ending story between kit and Jude really made me cry. it was beautiful, I really like this season a lot. I do believe it is on par with the first one

The first episode was not that convincing and made me expect a boring season. Luckily enough all plotlines start to get interesting and faster-paced in a few episodes, especially after Leatherface gets revealed. The asylum becomes the perfect stage for pretty much all of the horror myths and conspirational theories of the '60s, and the well-written characters help to keep the tension high the entire time. There are so many things going on that it gets a bit confusing and too much all over the place, but I guess that's what made the season interesting to begin with.
This story was interesting until episode 11. The final 3 episodes just ruined it.
By now, I have already watched 1-3 seasons. And I think that, this season was the best! I don't like neither the one nor the third season, just some bitch running around a "block" and nothing special. Maybe the forth season better. Have a nice day!
Never actually finished this season, dropped it at the 6th episode.
