This is an okay ending. It's funny, because Miranda was my favourite in the original series, but Carrie became my favourite in And Just Like That. Her storyline is more down to earth and well acted. Shame about everything/everyone else.
That was a satisfying finale.
I'm sorry but Samantha as a text message is just lame.
And WTF was that? Carrie texts 'Want to talk?' Samantha replies 'Sure' and Carrie locks the phone and walks out the room??? Want to talk is immediately followed by a call is it not??

Love seeing actors given a chance to show off their other talents, it was great hearing Sara sing again.
Pretty decent ending to an otherwise mediocre show. Carrie's new podcast format and her new lover seem to be the suitable fresh start she deserved.
FYI: Handling cremation ashes in France (they call them funerary ashes – cendres funéraires) is restrictive. You are not permitted to:

Let’s also just quietly ignore that scattering ashes in the middle of Paris is illegal, like practically anywhere else in Europe :upside_down: And to add to what I didn’t like about this otherwise very glamorous and somewhat touching scene – did they REALLY have to send this guy with that poor dog across the bridge for the shot? It was so stressed.
Love that they put Samantha back in but would have loved to actually see a reunion

I've enjoyed Carrie's journey this season and having it end with her podcast as the new format of her old platform works really well.
I don't really like it when shows say that asking for/telling someone you want to kiss them is unsexy though. It's all desire at the end of the day and I'd rather be prepared! The last thing you want is an unwanted kiss or a brush off!
Really didn't get on with Miranda this season. She's acting like a teenager with her infatuation for Che (on that subject thank god it was singing not more awful stand-up). I get that love is like that sometimes but she's a grown ass woman who knows better and friends should ALWAYS come first. Especially when they're scattering the ashes of their husband ffs.
Also her steadfast view on the heaven stuff to Carrie was really rude. Let the woman grieve how she wants. What a dick.
The Rock stuff was a disappointment. What a wonderful event Charlotte had organised only for it to be thrown in her face by the kid. I'm all for letting them be who they want but have some respect for your mum. Having a label isn't a flipping albatross. Coddled af.
Feel like I've hate-watched a lot of this season but some bits were decent? And to be back with old friends as it were. If there is to be a season 2 I hope it learns from the viewer feedback of this one.
