Impactful Performance Jodie Turner/Anne
We have a problem, and it's not the casting or the setting ... it's the plot.
We know the story to spare, whether it is because we are obsessed with the time or we have seen The Tudors or The other Boleyn girl or even the classic Anne of the Thousand Days. There is little left to say that it has not already been said ... so the way of telling it has to be what surprises and keeps you hooked, which is not the case here. All very nice and boring. Sorry for the people involved.

Firstly, I love period dramas and I think Jodie Turner-Smith is an amazing beautiful actor. However, I feel her casting in the role of Ann doesn't work. I know some people many think this statement is wrong. However I feel staying true to the factual appearance of a historic person is important. This in my opinion applies to all famous and important historic persons.
