It could have been a decent episode, but they decided not to show the threesome. What a waste.
Also, I always thought that decontamination cabin can also detect that there is still some alien life form left after the decontamination process. Apparently, it not working this way, because reasons.
They really did send the most inept people on this mission..

What was with that music? Thought it was coming from somewhere else on my PC when it started then found out it was coming from the episode when i paused it. Did not go with the episode for me. :thinking:
When I started this show it was because of my ex. We watched one episode together and now some years later I felt like clearing some stuff off the "currently watching" hiatus plate. Oh boy... Episodes 2-4 are a complete shitshow of disappointment in everything that I can imagine.
Who trained these monkeys?
Who ELECTED them to go on this mission, crucial to humanity after all, so better send your best and absolutely no novices. Those who don't look like novices are ether completely narcistic or otherwise problem-ridden that they cannot even swallow pride or reflect their own behavior.
This epside was the first to have some strains of a story I can almost see building up after applying my very trained by now idiocy filter. Really, if and that's a big if I end up completing this show, then I'll have to keep training that filter to the maximum.
Graphically this show is pretty fine, but there are so many God damn inaccuracies or poorly planned actions or accidents that just shouldn't happen at all in a row it's becoming a major drag in my watch list.
To be fair, this show is probably best consumed as background noise whilst doing anything else on the side.
Whoever wrote the script for this better have a good excuse for why they didn't give any effort. This cannot be your best job at writing.

Okay. I guess they inhaled some Alien Spanish fly on this episode, because alot of sparks on this one. I do hope we get back at space exploration instead of the bodily one.
This felt like a "filler" episode up to the point where Bernie got injured. It started playing like a soap opera, especially back on the ship with the high school silliness between the three "swabbies". Niko and Cas sparking up some magic space pollen and getting (almost too) cozy, and everyone generally acting like they were about to swap spit and bump uglies. Hopefully they got this detour out of their system, and will get back to some action, as the end of the episode seems to indicate.
