first half boring... second half made me laugh, but it's not like it has a spectacular comedy, it's a generic comedy already seen in other animes.

Once Upon a Time in the West. Pan! Pan! Pan!

The show begins with a promisingly dark universe, aligning with the tastes of those who prefer a more somber aesthetic. However, it swiftly transitions into an Ecchi/Harem theme, which may not cater to everyone's preferences due to its apparent deviation from a serious tone. Additionally, the combat animations fail to impress, offering little in terms of animation quality. The visuals, on the whole, are simplistic, leaving much to be desired for an audience that seeks a rich and detailed animation experience.

This anime is as good as it is bad, the story is good, the animation is good, and there is happing a lot, but there is also a lot i don't like. Like he is way too overpowered, the Harem that is going on, and the lag of lore. And needs a lot more RPG elements, and It feels like it got compress too much, like they are skipping a lot of info just to not make it too long. idk its a good anime but just missing a lot.

Initially it was a bit boring, but became interesting by the end. Character animation was on the low side though. Story was decent but felt like rushing. Only watch this if you're into "Isekai-Overpowered-Protagonist" themed anime(s).

Edit: Season 2 was nothing new in terms of Nagumo's almightiness but the story and animation improved a lot. This was worth watching.

Definitely just another one of the many "assemble the harem" kind of isekai animes. There are some interesting powers and it there some interesting ideas with gaining power from eating monster meat (kinda surprised they haven't made a ton of sex jokes about that yet tbh).

Anyways, expect a lot of ecchi and raunchy moments, probably not the best Anime to watch at work or with your mom. You can also expect the typical harem shenanigans and the weakling guy to suddenly become the most overpowered character pretty much in the duration of the first episode. But hey, it sure kept the weak storyline rolling fast.

The biggest liability of this anime is the monster animation they used, it's CGI for all the monsters in the entire season which is out of place considering that this is 2D anime. Another thing is that you got this feeling that you've watched this anime before, I'm not implying being an Isekai but the feeling where you are familiar with the concept and theme that they have here. From the comments of manga readers, they said that they skipped many things when the MC was still in the cave and that the manga is superior to this adaptation. FYI this is Light Novel original that is adapted to manga than anime. I recommend that you watch a better anime than this. Like the rise of the shield hero.

Character animation is ok monster animation is very bad but the i think the story is great. Similar backstory to shield hero.
Hope they get better at monster animation.
