[7.7/10] Very fun episode, where you can tell that they’re ramping up the insanity and intersecting storylines. The show would go back to George Sr. and Lucille setting their kids against one another with regularity, and it’s easy to see why here -- having the kids deny that they care what their parents think, only to have the senior Bluths get in their heads anyway, is a venerable story engine.
Here it takes the form of George Sr. using GOB as a patsy to scare off Ira Gilligan, the Bluth Company accountant. There’s a lot of great pieces of this one, from GOB being so easily manipulated by George Sr.’s approval, to Michael worrying about whether or not he’s “fun”, to Buster going hog wild on “unlimited juice.” Between the insanity of a hot cop-attended, entrapment-based fake bachelor party, and Michael and GOB actually having a little brother bonding going on, it’s a winner of a storyline, with lots of good laughs.
I also enjoy the B-story, with the Funkes’ folk band quite a bit as well. The pharma product jokes are good for a laugh; GOB’s wife being a big fan of the band is an amusing twist, and I absolutely love George Michael trying to sneak into the band via his wood block and boasting about his natural ability to keep time.
Overall, a very funny episode that works as a great example of Arrested Development being able to orchestrate its insanity beautifully and hilariously.
We have unlimited juice? This party is going to be off the hook!

I get constantly thrown off by the fact that some storylines come and go without notice - how Tobias is frequently in and out of the jail, or how GOB is married in one episode and spring-breaking in the next one just to be married again in the next
