4x17 Beacon of Hope

Not a bad episode but the problem with Felicity and her mom is that they have made the show too cutsie. With Oliver or without Oliver; Felicity is overused.
I like Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead) but Brie Larvan and all her bee lines is like something from a Joel Schumacher movie. After Cupid and now Brie; I hope we get a more bad ass villain next week.

Worst episode in a long time. The bee girl.... Horrible, just horrible!

Two mediocre episodes in a row is not a good sign for this series. Already I'm looking forward to the next season because this one has been disappointing save a few wonderful episodes and stellar crossovers. Laurel was awesome this time around, and the flashbacks (to me) were actually more interesting than the main story line. As a once fan of Olicity, I could care less about Felicity now.

A surprising ally? Or could that be a terrific ally? wink wink

Are they just bringing back an old villain for every episode now? Already out of characters and plot ideas? It was a lot better than last week's trainwreck though.

So.. Brie Larvan can afford building millions of robotic beez but can't afford the bio-chip? ...anyway, good episode, despite the Smoak's annoyance.

Why am I still watching this series? It's the same episode over and over again.

curtis would be a nice replacement for the dead character that is felicity smoak. We are at the point in arrow where the main villain is on a break and nothing’s really happening to they revive pointless old villains to fill an episode. Literally this episode could have never happened and it would In no way effect the show, just the cliff hanger and Curtis, but they weren’t too important anyway. A pointless, forgettable episode.

Flash villains are definitely more colourful. It's fun, but a little too much. All the bee jokes, it looks more like a parody. And the bees gatheting to take humanoid form ? Come on, is it a 60's show or what ?

I don't think that it was the moment for a Felicity centric episode. Unless they want to replace her by Curtis, which wouldn't be a bad thing, he was pretty funny.

Also "I just got an idea. What if I develop the thing that makes me walk when I should be paralyzed for life ?" That's the new idea ? Like, wasn't that obvious ? What were you gonna do ? Keep it just for yourself ?

Is Malcolm really working with Darhk or trying to take HIVE for himself ? That would be a nice turn.

Anyway, the only real good part was Darhk taking over the prison. Classic, but well done, and in style.

Nice to see Emily Kinney after TWD in another role! Mediocre episode.

Best thing about this episode was the Curtis LOL NOPE jump

She is not Voldemort "," They are like the Borg, "Die Hard with bees", "Independence day virus". To a hacker let you use a computer ?, nobody notices the date? How do you know Damien Dark?
