Seeing Adrian Chase put Oliver Queen at a corner is so clever, ingenious and resourceful. His real Checkmate. Adrian played him so hard, I really love him. This Prometheus storyline totally nails it.
It makes me sad seeing Ollie discredit himself like this. He's the symbol of justice and has always showed it, not only masquerading as the Green Arrow, but also as the Mayor. After this, I guess you can't bring justice both ways. One thing that always passes me off is that the Green Arrow is always saving the city, yet he's still considered the villain.
Anatoly has the best one liners: "What is thing you are doing with your voice?", man that was freaking hilarious. You could read the "freaking Americans" all over his face.
And the quote of the week: "I'm ten steps ahead of you and you haven't even figured out what game were playing yet". Some might say, Ollie's chasing him (puns, the lowest form of humour).com loving Chase psychological warfare against Ollie.
And Wild Dog's "I'm gonna kill you in ways that hurt", had me lol.
And Pike, poor guy, man. Why don't they stop going into that fucking alley? It's like Ollie and limos. This doesn't end well.
Anyways, I think I should stop writing right now. I just drove my sis crazy, running around the hall shouting like a mad woman and hitting the walls. Amazing episode. Amazing season and amazing villain. And next week we got a torture episode. That, man, is amazing. Adrian Chase is the ultimate savage.
I'm so hyped right now I swear I can't stop typing. I'm gonna grab myself a cup of tea because I can't. I still have goosebumps. Man, I need a new episode right about now.
"I'm ten steps ahead of you and you haven't even figured out what game were playing yet" - Adrian Chase (Prometheus).
His honesty along with that freaky ass smile gave me the chills. He's a total maniac. Josh Segarra does play a great villain. I can't wait for this episode.
This was probably the best Arrow episode in ages. They have really done a great work by slowly building the revelation of Adrian Chase as Prometheus, something that I can't say about the previous two main villains of the show, whose storylines were boring and predictable. Sure, there are still some cliché dialogues and forced moments, but this is Arrow, those will always be components of the show. I'm enjoying this season way more than I expected to, hope they keep up the good work.
This season getting good, what a villain
It's actually impressive how Arrow has been able to maintain it's quality during this season. Especially when you have to deal with Laurel's absence and Curtis' silly balls. But this last few episodes have made me reminisce about the couple first seasons and it's honestly been an amazing comeback.
Adrian Chase and Talia bring a really dark and intense atmosphere that Arrow desperately needed.
Hey! Oliver and Felicity can actually have their own storylines without being all over each other too, it's also quite refreshing to witness that. I just hope it sticks that way for a long time, since it's probably gonna happen again sooner or later.
Bonus points for Dinah and Rene on the field together!
A good episode? Am I in heaven?
Chase's a fucking savage. Dude stabbed and killed his wife. HIS. OWN. FUCKING. WIFE. I'm in shock! For God's sake!!! He killed his wife, who he loves, just to keep on getting vengeance for the death of his father. When did you exactly go off rails, man? He's totally insane. He should've told his wife "Nobody can know my secret". And he threw at Ollie's face all everyone that has died. I could honestly feel that knife twisting. He's totally crazy, even more than Slade. And after killing his wife he still shows up at work making cracks about how seriously he takes his job after all. "Can't you see I'm mourning. The Green Arrow killed my wife". HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. I love that after everything he just shows up at work everyday, all professional and shit. "I take my job very seriously" guess no one will suspect you if you go to work everyday.
Prometheus is such a badass villain. Holy crap! And JOSH SEGARRA... Don't get me started. Petition to give this man award after award after award. Holy crap, he's such a vicious murderous psychopath. He really makes me shit my pants. He's totally containing a maniac inside. The way he says things, the way he behaves...Man, he's really scary and a freaking savage. He's such as strategist. ADRIAN FUCKING CHASE! He's a murdering psychopath, yet he blends in like a freaking badass. He totally checkmated Ollie and he still acts normal. He's right under him, running his life and yet Ollie has no freaking idea how close they both are. Man, this is the kind of villain that I love.
The fight between Chase and Ollie was amazing. It felt like it was a choreography but two skilled guys just brawl fighting. It was brutal. The music was on point and both of them being led by rage and letting suffering to take the forefront was great. Just the rage on Chase's face, man. And the way he's just so calm after killing her...damn, this guy doesn't care about anything but revenge.
My name is Adrian Chase. After four years of meticulous and scrupulously planning my vengeance and preparing myself, I arrived to Star City with only one goal -to checkmate Oliver Queen. Today, I fight that war on two fronts. By day, I professionally work as District Attorney at City Hall, but by night, I am someone else. I am...something else. I am Prometheus.

Those T-Spheres are pretty cool. And the wife dies, well maybe. I knew that was going to happen while I was typing this.
Ugh. Whatever. F Susan, she sucks. When are we getting Olicity back? I miss season 2 Olicity like crazy! I need the flirty comments and longing gazes back
Making traps to lengthen the plot
I'm a little annoyed at Talia for being so simplistic with her own you-killed-my-father contribution, like she couldn't know the whole story behind dad-Ra's al Ghul's obsession with Oliver as the prophesied next-Ra's al Ghul and all the wild implications and complications that that inflicts on everyone. I'm still hoping that some spark of sense will flicker in there somewhere.
Or maybe Señor Inigo Montoya can show up out of nowhere and tell the both of them to just shut the hell up. ;-)
But other than that... wow. This ep was dense with holy-crap moments, just getting worse by the moment. More than once I've thought that they should just tank Adrian any way they can (preferably permanently) and depend on the team (and Felicity's new friends) to find Susan, but at least it's reasonably believable that they might worry about the risk and hold on just a little longer... just a little longer... just a litt--OH, CRAP.
Last season smothered us with a little too much Damien Dahk and yeah Felicity too. This season we got a cooler villain and slightly less Felicity but still too much. I prefer more Thea over any Felicity though.
FUCKING AMAZING! I'm in shock! 30 minutes after the episode and I'm still here: motionless, my face reflected on my screen, I just... Man, ARROW. IS. KILLING. IT. I love it! Where has this episode been my whole life? JUST. PERFECT. I'm gonna need four or five posts to just try to explain myself.
Let's see if I can make any sense...
Hands down to the best episode this season. Adrian Chase/Simon Morrison stepped up his game. He's massively turned up the creep factor. Damn, Prometheus has me in shock. That's a grade A villain on display. Man, every scene is just creepy. From threatening the team while professionally working to killing his wife. That scene in the garage was just awesome. They totally nailed it.
Josh Segarra is totally bringing up the menace. He's the most compelling villain since Slade. I'm honestly quite impressed. "Let's find out how much loss you can take" and "If you kill me, you will only be killing yourself", that was so cold.
Every scene whith Chase not being Prometheus was absolutely gold and still creepy as fuck. I'm mesmerized when I see him on screen and creeped af. "When I had Susan as my guest", damn man, that was funny.
Chase was fucking terrifying this whole episode. He's totally insane. That scene when Ollie came into the meeting was so intense I thought he was going to go all crazy for a sec and attack him right there. Ollie seemed completely overwhelmed at how calm Chase was. And that quote "You tired? Or is it that you've actually been asleep this whole time?" reminded me of "What's wrong Mr. Queen? You look a little peaked".

Compared to the previous season this one is bloody brlliant. Prometheus is such a great villain with a great actor.
