Well, twice in a row, I didn't not expected to like this episode that much. Far from being perfect, it had its good moments, mainly Dinah and Vince's relationship, which continues to amaze me.
However, if there's something that bothered me was Pike's demise. So they just wrote him off like that? The fact that he knew Oliver was the GA and yet he turned the blind eye made me think about his new storyline, which could've been great. But instead, they just kill him off in the most unnecessary way. It feels like lazy writing. If they were planning on killing him because a stupid guy got electrocuted because he wanted to touch a glitching screen on a stucked elevator, they could've just killed him in the first place instead of putting him in a comma. He deserved better. But anyways, now I just hope we have a funeral at least.
I'm digging the new team. Their dynamic is perfect and, even though it seems like Dinah is in charge, all of them have voice and decide on not going solo in order not to compromise the team. The only thing I didn't like was the "New Team Arrow". When Rene said NTA I was thinking the N stranded for "Not" but guess I was wrong. How could you name the team like that if none of you shoot any arrows? They should go with "The Outsiders". I'm digging that.
So Vigilante is a double agent. I'm not still sure that he's undercover. I mean, it makes sense cause he was an undercover cop but it seems as if the writers are going with the whole triple agent. Well, if it's true he's undercover he will stop being a walking-talking human contradiction.
Dinah's "He had so many opportunities to tell me he was a double agent" was a wee bit stupid. I mean, I don't think being undercover implies telling people you're indeed a double agent. Btw, Dinah using her canary cry to stop the train was amazing. Pretty sure half the passengers are deaf now, but still.
This might be a rather unpopular opinion but I loved Felicity this episode. Her speech to William was so heartwarming and lovely that, to me, it's the highlight of the episode. I loved the acting and the acne in general. Cutting back and forth between the action scenes and Felicity 's speech was nice. I loved it.
And finally the William drama is over (not sure if seeing your dad killing people, however bad they are doesn't imply going to therapy). However, I couldn't help but laughing when William said "it's ok if you go out there. I have Felicity now" which translates as "Well, you can go out there and die cause I'm not afraid anymore, now if you die Felicity is here so, screw you".
BEN GALE. I loved that he call himself that way. My inner Lost fan lost it at that moment. I loved the reference. So Cayden James thinks Oliver killed his son Owen one year ago when he was in Hub City....Well, it had to be Prometheus, right? After all, he's always 10 steps ahead. It'd be great if Chase faked evidence and sent it to Cayden. I don't want it to be anyone else like Talia or Evelyn, if they're still alive.
I lost count if how many times the line "no more secrets and lies" has been uttered this show. Probably roughly the same amount as "Can we have the room, please?" and yet, here we are, keeping secrets and lying.
What the fuck was that ending scene? That money comes from the city budget so hoe the hell is he going to explain that it's missing? That's political suicide.
If there's one thing I'll never get tired of is Rene's classic balls joke. "because your balls never malfunction", lol.
Curtis' "You think the T on my face stands for gullible?" had me rolling. That line was great.
Another good one that I’ve enjoyed thoroughly. Dinah and Vince and their dynamic continue to be the highlight of the season for me.
man what an episode... I was not expecting that ending! Oliver Queen better have an ace up his sleeve or he is royally screwed!
Dinah Drake and Vincent Sobel's relationship is getting way more interesting...
I'm now curious about what Oliver is up to and what Cayden James's plans are for the rest of the season ....such a mysterious mystery!
I'm living right now for Mommy Felicity and all those domestic Olicity moments!!!
I'm glad that William didn't put up or drag any drama and was cool with Ollie. The team should learn from him especially Diggle lul.
No, I don't care about Team B.. Give me back solo Oliver At least Laurel didn't show. Cayden James' motive, meh. His callback to his Lost days was much funnier than most of the 'comedy' in this season however.
I don’t like the team seperated :/

The Lost fan in me can't stop laughing at the name Cayden James called himself in Oliver's office - "Ben Gale".
