This season of Arrow was pretty fucking awesome overall. I enjoyed it more than Season 5, almost reaching Season 2 levels of excitement. I loved it!
I only had ONE problem with it, and that is the way the separation of the group was handled. I liked the separation itself, I think it shakes things up and changes the relationship dynamic, which makes it interesting... but I don't like the reasons they came up with to justify such changes. It's ridiculous that Oliver is made out to be this terrible leader and the whole argument with Diggle was terrible, even him doesn't seem to know why he is upset.
Honestly though, that doesn't really affect the season in my mind, especially seeing the payoff on these last episodes, with everybody worried about Oliver getting caught. Oliver's "farewell tour" made it pretty clear that he turned himself in to clear the others - and the public reveal finally came (but unlike Iron Man, Oliver was taken straight to jail). Really curious about how they will deal with this next season, especially seeing as every time a season starts with Oliver not being an active vigilante, it doesn't take long until he suits up again. Going to be trickier this time.
I enjoyed watching the relationship of Earth-2 Laurel and Quentin all season. These actors work so well together, and Katie Cassidy is extremely good in the doppleganger business. Quentin's death sucks, but it didn't really hit me that hard, I guess because I half expected it due to the spoilery news that came up some time ago about Paul Blackthorne leaving the show. Plus, let's face it, things happen in that hospital - I think Sara has grounds to sue.
Last but not least, while Laurel screaming at Diaz and essentially "saving him" sucks... it creates a situation where even though this guy lost his empire and the heroes basically "won", he is not dead or incarcerated and very likely will return with a vengeance. I like this and would love it if he was the big bad again next season, making his arc huge. Diaz was a very cool, intimidating villain despite only being a crime boss - I find this fits Arrow quite well. It does seem weird that he can hold his own against Oliver - I was thinking that maybe there's more to him we don't know (like those mythical assassins he mentioned?) but they made a deal of showing that his thing is boxing. There's certainly more to expand on that character with the writers leaving that door open.
Diaz's yelling is the worst acting in history
F-n hell, Diaz is the worst villain - just utter garbage. And the Quadrant? That super evil world dominating organization that no one knew about and lasted two episodes?
Normally they'd end the season but they are carrying the bad guy over to the next. I dont really like Diaz honestly he seems like the weakest bad guy we have faced he only had more numbers. Really hate it that Quintin died :( really going to miss him, with a new season coming i doubt Oliver will stay in prison long, perhaps a summer in max lock up is what he needs.
...like what?
so...Oliver knows he's going to Super Max with all the prisoners he put there, and the first thing he does when he's being led out in cuffs is to announce to the news reporters there that He is the arrow...so now his friends and family have to watch their backs because everyone knows who he is. Ok...he put Felicity and his son William in protective custody and whatever...but what about everyone else? It doesn't take a genius to know that the security guard Diggle and Renee who admitted to being part of the gang is one of them...then Dinah, becase she's always hanging out with them... I thought Ollie was supposed to be smart, but that wasn't smart at all. So now all the prisoners watched the news report and know who he is...and he's in Super Max with them...soooooo...who bets next episode someone will attempt to kill him because he put them there? I swear he has a death wish.I hope next season sees an end to Diaz...he's literally the suckiest villain yet. He was bullied in an orphanage so the world has to pay, boo hoo hoo... he doesn't even have any special skills. Why was he even able to last this long? And again, my comment looks like a big blob of blur because everything is a spoiler, lol. Soooo, I un-spoilered some parts, lol
Oh, and based on the title, I bet he is going to be there for life but we all know something is going to happen to put an end to that, lol.
The Arrowverse overdid the court scenes and heroes in jail stuff too much with the Flash and Arrow this year. First Barry in jail and now Oliver will be. Killed off Quintin too and Diaz is still alive. Yeah pretty weak finale.
Impossible Ollie is behond bars!!!! He should've killed Diaz when he had the chace before Laurel showed up on the roof. He survived that fall???? How many lives he has? 9?? Like cats???? Next season will be Ollie's live in jail and Diaz trying to kill him????
Shit, shit, shit, shit....and dammit!!!
The Lance family deserved better.
Quentin got an earful of screaming LOL
Ok, so Oliver does THAT. I guess I get it, since he has always been the martyr type from day one, but still, he apologizes to all of his former team, that apart from Diggle are a bunch of morons, but is incapable of giving Felicity a heads up before turning himself in. This just shows how little the writers care about her, she was the best character on the show once, and now she's just there for moral support, she doesn't even get to say a proper goodbye. I honestly hope this show ends next year, I don't see it going on any longer.
imdb says that the season finale of arrow!
why here there 2 more episodes idk...
Can't believe that Oliver is going to max security jail! Was a pretty awesome episode. Is it actually the season finale? Trackt lists episode 24 and 25 still to go.

Season is over and I still stand corrected that Dinah is the best thing about it. I hope she’ll be utilized more next season. That’s all I’m going to say.
How can I see this episode?

I have a better title for this episode: "Canaries and handshakes".
