Season 46 2001 - 2002

Lily reads the letter that Rose planted in her bag. Lucinda arrives to welcome Lily home and winds up comforting her when Lily shows her the letter where Holden professed his love to her, when it was really to Rose. Meanwhile, Holden tells Rose that he and Lily have reconciled. They share a warm moment and Holden tells her that he has no regrets. Remembering that Lily has the letter, Rose informs Holden about it. He runs out, hoping to stop Lily from reading it, but hes too late. He explains that he loves her and that their future is more important than the past. Holden burns the letter and Lily invites him to come home. Jack visits Julia at the psychiatric hospital and finds out that Carly attacked her. Julia plays the sympathy card and tells Jack that she told Carly what happened to Flashdance to prove that she needs help. When Jack leaves to straighten things out with Carly, Julia explains to another patient that she enjoys being crazy. Meanwhile, Carly is in the Oakdale police station demanding to speak to Jack, but Margo convinces her to give her statement to Hal. Carly is about tell Hal that Julia killed Flashdance when Jack arrives. Hal agrees to let Jack take her home. Carly, disappointed that Jack is still protecting Julia and convinced that hell never leave her, says goodbye to Jack. Later, Lien tells Ben about her upcoming meeting with Curtis dad. Curtis overhears them arguing and wants to know how long Ben has known that his dad is alive. Lien covers for Ben and tells Curtis that it was her idea not to tell him. Ben and Lien assure Curtis that the adoption will go smoothly. Ben and Lien draw closer together.

Katie tries to stall Simons departure from Oakdale. She insists that he leave on a good note and they should have fun together on his last day. Katie manipulates their time together and tries to seduce him. Craig calls Cass and asks him to find a loophole in Barbaras prenuptial agreement. He then manipulates Barbara into leaving the suite, by informing her of Julias commitment in the psychiatric ward. Barbara leaves giving the prenuptial agreement to Craig to look over and sign. As he is leaving to meet Cass, Jen shows up and threatens to do everything she can to ruin the wedding. Meanwhile, Bryant meets with Gabe to discuss their plan to seduce and entrap Craig, using Ruby as the seductress. Bryant and Jennifer agree to let Gabe and Ruby get involved in the situation with Craig. Meanwhile, Barbara and Lisa visit Julia in the psychiatric ward. They subtly try to convince her that her marriage is over and that Julia shouldnt try to hang on to Jack. Julia explodes at Barbara for her accusations and for her plan to marry Craig. She tells a nurse never to admit Barbara again.

Katie apologizes for trying to seduce Simon and begs him to stay in Oakdale for one more day so they can get to know each other. She continues to question him about his past and he cryptically admits to having been in love before. Simon insists that he has no prospects in Oakdale and therefore no reason to stick around. Katie asks Craig to give Simon a job. Cass and Craig meet to discuss Barbaras prenuptial agreement; Cass doesnt see any loopholes in the legal document. Meanwhile, Ruby and Gabe set their plan in motion and Ruby descends upon Craig in the Lakeview Lounge. Gabe eagerly takes pictures of the two sitting next to each other. Craig tells Ruby to remove her hand from his thigh and tells her to cut the crap and tell him what she really wants from him. She apologizes to Craig for how she conned Bryant. Craig leaves Ruby and returns to his suite, moments later she arrives at his door. Bryant doesnt tell Jen the details of his plan with Gabe to stop the wedding, but both agree the wedding cannot go on. Holden tells Rose that he is moving back home with Lily, despite the incident with the letter. Rose is upset, but wishes them well. She decides to go and talk to Lily, who chastises Rose for playing dirty and planting the letter. Rose agrees to accept Holdens decision, but she insists she is not leaving town. As they conclude their conversation, the doorbell rings. Lily answers to an excited Holden who sweeps her into his arms. A shattered Rose emerges from the shadows and locks eyes with Holden.

Desperate to keep Craig from being released, Barbara maintains her conviction that he was the man who attacked her although she has no memory of the event.

Simon and Katie watch Lily and notice a strange man struggling with her, who turns out to be Damian's brother Dante. Simon manages to rescue her and she takes off, looking for Luke and Holden.

Jack is forced to issue a subpoena to Carly for her to appear in court after Barbara's account of Carly and Craig's relationship, but he tells her the questions they'll ask, and swears he trusts her.

Lily holds Señora Cordina at gunpoint and demands that she contact Damian to arrange the release of her husband and son, but Cordina admits that the real problem is Damian's illegitimate younger brother, Dante.

Barbara feels burdened by her concerns over Jens disapproval, Sierra not signing the divorce papers, and Hals recent findings regarding Winston Lowes death. Craig, nervous about the photos taken with him and Ruby, suggests that he and Barbara get out of town for a couple of days. Bryant, Gabe, and Ruby celebrate the pictures they have to frame Craig. Bryant leaves to share the good news with Jen. They decide that their only shot at stopping Barbaras marriage to Craig is to show Barbara the pictures. They set off for the Lakeview to expose Craigs indiscretion to Barbara. Meanwhile, Craig turns to Simon to help him find out who is responsible for setting him up. Simon eventually agrees to help Craig recover the incriminating photos if Craig agrees to move Simon and Katie into the Lakeview. Henry informs Katie about Simons past as a gigolo. Later, Katie takes some comfort that shes returning to the Lakeview and the fact that Simon is staying in Oakdale for at least a little longer. Denise is offered an opportunity to dance with the Chicago Modern Dance Company. With the help and support from Isaac, she accepts the position, says goodbye to Isaac, and heads off to the Hughes house.

Jennifer and Bryant discover that Craig and Barbara went to New York and are forced to postpone their delivery of the incriminating pictures. Katie and Simon move into Craigs Lakeview suite. Katie overhears Simon trying to track down Ruby. Fearing that he is back to his old tricks and looking for wife number six, Katie confronts Simon about his past. He admits to his previous marriages but insists that he loved each of his wives. He tries to convince Katie that his interest in Ruby is just business. When Lucinda finds out that Sierra and Craig are still married she tries to discourage Sierra from divorcing Craig. Lucinda shares with Sierra her plan to send Craig to prison for not being able to replace the money he stole from Bryant. Jennifer and Bryant arrive and reveal their plan to blackmail Craig with the photos. Sierra is appalled at Bryants scam and pleads with him to end the family feud. Bryant is distraught about whom to listen to - his mother or his grandmother. Later, Jakes concern for Lien grows as she has another dizzyness attack. Lien meets with Ben and informs him that Curtis will have to testify in court. Isaac interrupts with the news that Denise is leaving town. Ben runs to the Hughes house to find Denise. They share a sad goodbye and Denise leaves for Chicago.

When Barbara refuses to see her daughter, Bryant does his best to comfort Jennifer, and asks her if she would like to move in with him.

Katie grills Isaac about where Simon went. Henry confronts Katie about her living in Craigs suite at the Lakeview while he is struggling.

Paul thanks Rose for bringing him the security photos, then asks her for a favor. At Paul's request, Rose tells Carly that security photographs are destroyed after a few weeks.

After basking in their after glow, Jack asks Carly to accompany him to Craig and Barbaras wedding. Carly hesitates, fearing public disapproval, but Jack assures her that its time for them to be a couple and not worry about petty gossip. Carly agrees and excitedly makes plans to design a knockout dress. Julia calls and asks a reluctant Jack to come and see her. Jack agrees and when he arrives he asks for a divorce. Julia agrees under the condition that he accompanies her to Craig and Barbaras wedding. Simon reports back to Craig that Bryant is the behind Gabe and Rubys plans to incriminate Craig. Sierra goes to see Craig. She tells him that she is concerned about everything shes heard about Craigs shady dealings. He convinces Sierra that he loves Barbara and nothing else matters. Sierra signs the divorce papers. Adam shows up at Jake and Mollys apartment in desperate need of advice on how to put his tuxedo together. Jake agrees to help and takes him into the bedroom. Meanwhile, Abigail comes home looking for help from Molly, after having similar problems with her prom dress.

Julia confides in Lisa that because Jack is taking her to the wedding, she thinks this is her chance to get him back. Meanwhile, Jack breaks the news to Carly that in order for Julia to sign divorce papers he must take Julia to the wedding. A suspicious Carly agrees. Carly and Jack ask Cass to help draw up the papers for Jack. Craig confronts Bryant about his involvement with Gabe and Ruby and the incriminating pictures taken of him. Bryant tries to blackmail Craig into calling off the wedding, but Craig insists that he is more concerned with Bryant being involved with scam artists. Craig tries to warn Bryant that Gabe and Ruby are using him. While Lien is coaching Curtis for his trial, she has another episode of severe fatigue. Ben asks Lien to get a continuance on the trial so that Curtis doesnt have to go to trial and they have more time to get dirt on Curtis father. Meanwhile, Katie sees Margo setting up for Liens surprise party and is offended that she was not invited. Margo finds out that Simon is working for Craig and warns him that Craig can be dangerous. Later, Ben leads Lien into the dining room at the Lakeview for her "welcome back to Oakdale" surprise party. During a poker game, Lien has an attack and leaves the room. Jake follows her. Molly and Margo join him to ask what is wrong when Lien collapses on the floor! Lien tries to brush them off, insisting that she slipped. Jake confides in Margo that he has seen this happen before and he is worried about her. Craig asks Simon to go after Ruby and Gabe to find out what their real plan is.

Holden realises that the friar is a fraud when he sees him wearing a Rolex, and after the friar falls to his death, Holden assures Luke that everything will be alright.

Curtis and Isaac convince Ben not to let Lien leave believing he hates her, and before she leaves, the two share one final dance.

Carly is terrified that Jack will hate her after her testimony, and she believes her worst fears are coming true when Jessica produces the pictures of her kissing Craig.

Jake asks Margo to help track down Matthew, but she tells him there is nothing that the police can do without more evidence. Molly arrives and tries to convince Jake that they can find Matthew themselves. Craig laments to Katie about his blown relationship with Barbara. When Barbara unexpectedly knocks on his door, Katie punches Craig in the stomach so that it looks like hes suffering. Barbara asks Craig if his breaking up with her was his idea or Carlys. Thinking he has been caught, Craig offers to show Barbara out, but she wants to know if he was being sincere. He surprises even himself when he states that he would understand if she didnt want to marry him. After hearing his testament, Barbara declares that the wedding is still on. Lily demands to know what Simon is doing in Lucindas house with Ruby. Ruby adds fuel to the fire by commenting on Simons past. While Simon is attempting to explain, Ruby realizes that Lily is the one who Simon fell in love with. Meanwhile, Katie storms off towards Lucindas, furious at Craig for making her husband spend time with Ruby. When she sees Simon with Lily and Ruby, she attacks Ruby. Simon and Lily pull them apart and Lily demands that everyone leave. Lucinda walks in and sends Ruby to her room. She asks Simon what he was doing in her house, but he plants a kiss on her and leaves with Katie. Later, Simon reports what happened at Lucindas to Craig, who is now more determined than ever to make sure his wedding goes off without a hitch. Craig plans on making Gabe and Rubys small plan into a large one that will benefit him. Craig asks Simon to steal the photos of him and Ruby back from Lucinda.

While a hopeful Hal tells Margo that Barbara is uncertain about marrying Craig, Barbara informs Jen and Will that she and Craig are definitely planning to tie the knot. Jen assures Will that she will make sure Craig and their mother never marry. Jen meets Bryant at the Old Mill, where they agree to show Barbara the photos of Craig and Ruby on her wedding day. To catch Craig off guard, Bryant decides to tell his father that he has destroyed the pictures. Craig tries to convince Simon to go back to Lucindas house to steal the photos of himself and Ruby. He promises Simon that the payoff will be worth his troubles, but Katie enters and threatens to kill Ruby if she ever sees Simon and Ruby together again! Simon realizes that Katie is bent out of shape because of Lilys presence at Lucindas - not Rubys. When Katie warns Simon that Craig wont think twice about setting Simon up, Simon assures her that he can take care of himself. Meanwhile, Hal visits Barbara and she breaks the news to him that she is marrying Craig. They discuss the living arrangements for the kids and agree that Hal will move back into Barbaras house since shell be living at the Lakeview. Hal leaves and calls Lucinda, hoping to be involved in the plan to ruin Barbara and Craigs nuptials. Meanwhile, Craig stops by the police station to see Margo. He asks his sister to keep an eye on Hal so that he doesnt ruin his wedding to Barbara, but Margo refuses.

Lily tells Rose about Simons gigolo past. Rose tries to provoke Lily so shell exact revenge on Simon, but when Lily refuses, Rose suggests she at least confront him. Lily calls Simon to arrange a meeting. Katie is worried that her time with Simon is running out. She calls Henry to help her find ways keep Simon in Oakdale. To entice Henry, she forges a letter of recommendation from Craig. Henry suggests that Katie get the one thing that Simon is interested in - money. Meanwhile, Simon calls Ruby to set up another date. Jake tells Isaac and Ben that he has not found any condemning information on Curtis father, Leo Thompson. Ben tries to set up another date with Lien and she accidentally lets it slip that she is tired from being in the hospital yesterday. Lien, not wanting to lie to Ben, leaves him without an explanation. Emily spies Jack and Carly kissing in Als Diner and immediately takes out her camera to start snapping pictures. She then approaches Jack and Carly with questions about Julia and why she is in the psychiatric hospital. Carly fears that Emily is going to write a story in The Intruder and to be on the safe side Jack and Carly agree to keep their distance from each other until Julia signs the divorce papers. In the psychiatric ward, Julia asks Dr. Michaels if declaring herself unfit would enable her to get out of her divorce, but Dr. Micheals tries to encourage her to focus on getting better. Emily visits Julia and reveals the photos of Jack and Carly kissing and Julia agrees to be interviewed for an article.

Gabe tells Craig that he removed Matthew from Lucindas house and replaced him with Ruby as part fo his plan. When Craig divulges that he is planning a hostile takeover of Worldwide, he and Gabe brainstorm for ways to make Lucinda seem incapacitated. Gabe tells Craig about a drug that they could slip to Lucinda that would make her appear incompetent. Jake and Molly discover that the last place Matthew was seen was the Lakeview Lounge. After questioning the bartender, Jake and Molly deduce that he met a woman at the bar and took a cab from there. Simon, despite Katies protests, agrees to meet Lily at the Old Mill. Katie follows them and eavesdrops on their conversation. Simon admits to Lily that everything that he said to her was a lie; he was only interested in the diamond. Lily asks if their relationship was a lie as well. He proclaims his feelings for her were true. Lily finds out that Simon is working for Craig and asks him to promise not to help Craig destroy her mother. When Simon tells Craig that he wont break into Lucindas house to get the pictures of Craig and Ruby, Craig is angry but agrees to do it himself. Meanwhile, Rose agrees to keep Lilys meeting with Simon a secret from Holden. Later, she almost reveals Lilys secret, but she decides not to risk her new relationship with Lily. When Lily returns she is grateful for Roses discretion and tells Holden that she is glad they are moving on from the past. Abigail accidentally finds a poem that Adam wrote to her expressing that his feelings for her are deeper than friendship. Abigail wants to discuss it, but an embarrassed Adam tears up the poem and leaves.

Ruby asks Simon if he has been conning her. Simon admits that he was and that he told Craig everything he found out. Katie enters the room and, furious to see Ruby near her man again, sprays Ruby with the fire extinguisher. Amused, Simon agrees that Katie makes life interesting. When she asks for details about the diamond that brought him to Oakdale, he tells her about it. Armed with the approximate location of where the diamond is, Katie tells Henry to get ready to go find the diamond. When Henry asks how she plans to pay for the wild goose chase, she shocks him by admitting that she has a lot of money saved. Craig accuses Carly of not thinking for herself now that she and Jack are back together. She leaves when Craig taunts her about her low aspirations to live with a cop. Bryant visits Craig to call a truce; he tells Craig that he has burned the photos of Craig and Ruby, but Craig doesnt believe him. Later, when Simon refuses to crash Lucindas party to steal the photos of Craig and Ruby, a frustrated Craig insists hell do it himself. Meanwhile, Jack visits Julia in the psychiatric hospital and she demands Jack sign over Carlys Prize if he wants a divorce. Julia explains that it is compensation for all the pain Jack and Carly have caused her. Jack is hesitant but eventually agrees and signs the land over. Carly is devastated at the news, but Jack promises Carly that he will get it back. Lien does a redirect examination on Curtis and he tells the court about his love for Ben. Curtis begs Leo to let him stay with Ben. Based on Curtis moving testimony, Leo concedes the custody battle and agrees to relinquish his parental rights. Isaac, Lien, Ben and Curtis all celebrate their victory. Ben thanks Lien and hints that he wants to start a relationship now that she is no longer his lawyer.

Even though Katie has returned to Oakdale and is getting relationship advice from her brother Craig, Simon has remained in Malta to help Lily get her husband and son back.

While making arrangements about Parker's visitation, Carly tells Hal that Emily is obviously crazy about him, prompting him to ask Emily out on a date.

Katie is preparing for her diamond hunting adventure when Simon arrives. A deliveryman arrives to drop off some survival kits and Katie panics. Katie tries to hide him, but Simon discovers him in the closet and kicks him out. Katie rejoices because she thinks Simon was acting jealous and challenges him to prove that hes not jealous by kissing her. After a steamy kiss, Simon denies feeling any sparks. Rose visits Lucinda and Lucinda informs Rose that she has arranged a meeting at WorldWide to discuss where Rose would best be an asset to the company. Lucinda, weak from Rubys health drinks, cannot make it upstairs and collapses onto the sofa. Ruby tells Gabe that their plan is progressing well. Meanwhile, Damian surprises Lisa at Java. He asks for her help in convincing Lily to let Luke visit him for the summer. Lisa fills Damian in on Lilys life including the discovery of her twin sister Rose. Damian insists that Lisa arranges an accidental introduction and Lisa agrees to help him out, summoning Rose to Java. Damian mistakes Rose for Lily and greets her with a kiss. He charms her in Italian and invites her for a drink. She agrees and he asks if she can help him convince Lily to let Luke visit him in Malta. Rose notices a sense of urgency in his plea for Luke to visit. Ben and Liens families gather to celebrate Liens victory in court and Bens adoption of Curtis. John arrives and confronts Lien about why she hasnt been to the hospital and why shes been avoiding him. John asks Lien get in touch with him. Later, John asks Ben to consult on a patient of his and Ben agrees. He asks John who the patient is and John tells him it is a referral from a doctor in Chicago. Lien, worried that John gave Ben her file, tries to snoop around and see what it says.

Craig and Barbaras wedding day arrives. While Barbara worries about her unhappy daughter, Craig worries about what Lucinda may do with the pictures of him and Ruby. When Jennifer sees the stunning dress that Barbara has designed for her, she feels guilty about the part she plans to play in destroying her mothers wedding. Elsewhere, Hal visit Lucinda. Although she's not feeling well due to the drugs Ruby has been slipping her, Lucinda assures Hal that nothing will stop her from exposing Craig at the ceremony. Jack gets reamed out by the police commissioner because of the story that ran in the Intruder. Meanwhile, a messenger delivers some photographs to Carly from Bayside Lumber Company. A devastated Carly shows Jack the pics of the bulldozers tearing down trees on Carlys Prize. Julia sold their dream home property to a lumber company! Jack comforts Carly, then leaves to confront Julia. Simon finds Katie and Henry discussing the final arrangements for their trip. After he tosses out Henry, Simon asks a nervous Katie what the two of them are up to.

Katie denies that she and Henry are up to no good and sends Simon off to pick up his tux. Barbara anticipates a perfect wedding, unaware that many are planning to sabotage it. Hal plans a surprise gift for Craig. He signals a farmer to lead in a donkey into the middle of the pre-wedding reception. Barbara is livid when the farmer hands her a note. Craig reads it aloud: Sorry about Flashdance. Thought this might make up for it. Love, Hal. Craig calms down the guests and has the manager get rid of the animal. Despite all of the drugs in her system, Lucinda makes her way to the nuptials, prepared to reveal the incriminating photographs. Although Simon informs her that she is barred from the premises, Lucinda and John manage to get into the wedding. Simon wants to alert Craig of Lucindas arrival, but is distracted when he sees Katies trunk lying off to the side with a tag that says Deliver to airport. Simon catches Katie before she can sneak out and demands an explanation. Trapped, Katie tells him that she is going away with another man. Jack shows up at the psych ward to pick up Julia and lays down the law. Julia promises to sign the divorce papers as soon as they arrive at the wedding. When Carly realizes that Jack has yet to obtain Julias signature, she walks away. Craig finds her and, minutes before the ceremony, kisses Carly!

After Craig kisses her, Carly stomps on his wounded foot and warns him not to ever do again. Simon finds Craig and informs him that Lucinda is there. Meanwhile, Lucinda is headed towards Barbara when Craig grabs her. Luckily, Lily and Holden interrupt. When Lucinda is free again she calls out to Barbara: I have a present for you. Craig is alarmed as she reaches into her purse, but Lucinda collapses before she can carry out her plan. As everyone rushes to her aide, a desperate Lucinda croaks, Get my purse. Craig casually kicks the bag under a table and recovers the pictures. When Bryant and Jen scan the area, they realize the photos are missing! Jack demands that Julia sign the divorce papers. Finally, Julia gives in. Julia then pulls Katie to the side. Julia claims she feels like she might pass out and asks Katie to take her up to her room at the Lakeview. She then hides an envelope under a pillow, and sends Katie to find Carly and Jack. Julia needs to see them both. After Katie leaves to fetch them, Julia smiles. Molly and Jake explore the boathouse where Matthew was dropped off the night he disappeared. Gabriel, disguised as the owner, chases them off. A suspicious Jake doesnt buy the act and gets confirmation from Rose that the boathouse owner and the telegram deliverer are the same man. Damian drops by Lilys house while they are all at the wedding to ask Rose to dinner. A wary Rose accepts. Later, Luke follows Damian up to his hotel room and reaches for his fathers gun. Everyone is devastated about the lost photographs, but Barbara and Craigs wedding finally begins. At the altar, a frustrated Jennifer halts the ceremony.

After Luke questions Damian about his gun, Damian lectures him about handgun safety and makes up a story about why he has the gun. When Holden and Lily find Luke in Damians hotel room, they accuse him of luring Luke there. An angry Holden leaves with Luke. Lily promises to try and straighten things out for Damian. Later, Damian asks Rose out for dinner. Katie tells Simon that she is going away with another man, but when Simon finds out that the other man is Henry, he laughs and wishes them fun on their adventure. Katie leaves Simon a note explaining where she is going, but a breeze brushes the note to the floor. In Simons hotel room, a maid finds Katies note and places it in a magazine. Jen interrupts Barbara and Craig's ceremony claiming she has an objection. Craig tries to contain her by grabbing her and Hal punches him for touching his daughter. Craig and Hal have to be pulled apart while Emily is snaps pictures. Jen leaves, steals a key from the desk clerk, and runs to Craigs suite. She destroys the dress that Barbara made for her and ransacks the suite. She then pages Bryant up to the suite. When he arrives, he finds her in a champagne bath. While trying to pull her out of the tub, he falls in. Meanwhile, Hal is arrested as Barbara and Craig share their I dos. After some dancing, Craig and Barbara go up to Craigs suite to enjoy their wedding night. Julia informs Jack and Carly that she is sorry for the pain she has caused them and is ready to commit herself. She also shares the news that she has been declared mentally incompetent, nullifying the divorce papers she signed. Julia declares that her plan will force Carly into the role of Jack's mistress. A frustrated Carly leaves and when Jack follows her, Julia jumps on him. To get rid of Julia, Jack dumps her in the punch bowl.

Hal performs a re-enactment of the boathouse explosion. He claims that Craig would never have had the time to set the bomb. When Jack becomes frustrated by Hals about-face on Craig Montgomerys innocence, Hal accuses him of being too emotionally involved with bringing Craig down because of his feelings about Craigs involvement with Carly. Hal decides to confront Craig. Meanwhile, Craig questions Emily about her new alliance with Hal. She continues to take pictures of Craig behind bars until Margo kicks her out. Margo asks Craig to give her one reason to believe that he is innocent. Craig is upset that Margo could even consider that he is responsible for the explosion at the boathouse. Hal arrives and asks Craig to explain exactly how he planted the bomb. Lily dials the number she found on the caller ID and hears Damians voice on the phone. She demands to know where Holden and Luke are but Damian hangs up. Lily is now completely convinced that they are alive. She calls the Chicago police department and they agree to send a detective to check it out. Lily is so grateful for all of Simons help. Detective Adamski is not impressed with the "evidence" that Lily has gathered, but he agrees to look into it. Simon believes that Lily is on her way to finding Holden and Luke. He approaches Rose about collecting the money she offered so he can go rescue Katie. On the island, a bird swoops down and steals the diamond from Katie. Katie is distraught and feels like giving up. Henry frees Cooley from the sand and goes to hunt for food while Cooley tries to comfort Katie. She starts to accept the fact that, although she still dreams of being rescued by Simon, he is not coming for her. Henry finds a bunny rabbit on the island and he plans to cook it, but Katie wants to keep it as a pet.

Tom decides to use the illegal drug that Ben has discovered to treat Lien. However, to protect Ben from getting in trouble with the hospital, Tom insists that he administer the drug himself. Ben stands watch outside and deflects John from seeing Lien while Tom is giving her the unapproved drug. Hal confides in Emily that he no longer believes that Craig is responsible for the explosion at the boathouse. Emily insists that it doesnt matter because Craig is guilty of many other crimes and should be behind bars.

Lucinda returns to Oakdale and finds Lily ready to leave for Malta. Despite the evidence that Lily presents to Lucinda, she is concerned that Lily will be in danger. Lucinda offers to accompany her to Malta, but Lily thinks that Lucinda is too high profile and will attract to much attention. Just as they agree to send a professional to check out the situation in Malta, Lily receives a package. She opens the box and finds the bottle with the message in it that Holden and Luke sent. Lily insists that now she has proof and she is going to Malta. Carly tells Jack that she has solved their financial problems by agreeing to work for Craig as a designer at BRO. Jack doesnt want Carly profiting from Barbaras accident. He tells her that their money troubles are his problem and hell solve them. Carly tries to persuade Jack, but a stubborn Jack wins out and eventually Carly gives in. Emily tells Hal that there are two names on the list of Oakdale residents who have had Special Forces training, Tom Hughes and Albert Norville, a former employee of Craig Montgomery. She and Hal set off to find Norville and question him about Craig. When they find him he announces that he has been expecting them. Meanwhile, Craig has gathered Cass and Margo at the boathouse. He responds to Margos questions by saying that he thought Barbara was unstable and thats why he was following her that night. Margo accuses him of lying. Although Margo has no proof of Craigs deception, she suspects that once they get Barbaras bank records his alibi will no longer exist. On the island, Simon threatens to leave Henry stranded with Cooley. As Katie and Simons plane takes off a bird gets caught in the propellers and drops dead at Henry and Cooleys feet the bird is carrying the diamond. During their plane ride, Katie tries to prove that because Simon rescued her he must love her. Simon finally relents and vaguely agrees to loving her. An overjoyed Katie jumps on him and the plane spins out of control.

An excited Lily starts to plan her trip to Malta. When Lily leaves for the airport, Lucinda calls a friend to request government help for Lily but Rose stops her. Rose suggests that Lucinda ask Simon to look out for Lily on her adventure. She confesses that she has already paid Simon for helping investigate Holden and Lukes disappearances so far and Lucinda agrees that Simon is the best choice to protect Lily. Meanwhile, Katie taunts Simon about his admission of love for her. She begs Simon to make love to her when they return to Oakdale and much to Katies delight, Simon agrees. Carly and Jack agree that her working as a designer for Craig is a bad idea. Molly comes over so Carly can start working on her wedding gown. She and Carly discuss the possibilities of Carly working for Craig. When Carly accidentally admits that she and Craig shared a kiss on the day of his wedding to Barbara, Molly warns that getting involved with Craig is dangerous. Carly is determined to see if she can work things out so she can help Jack financially. Norville, the bartender at Yos, admits to Hal and Emily that he and Craig had a conversation about explosives years ago. Thinking that they hit a dead end, Hal goes off to question Tom about Craig's past and Emily thinks about a new angle for her story. Margo and Jack question Craig about what happened the night of the explosion at the boathouse. Craig expresses his hopes that Barbara will wake up soon so she can clear his name. Margo admits that she believes he's innocent. Jen visits Barbara in the hospital and pours her heart out to her mother. She reaches for her hand and Barbara squeezes it. Bob tries to warn Jen that Barbara's recovery will be very slow, but Jen is overjoyed nonetheless.

Ecstatic, Jennifer tells Hal about the progress that Barbara is making. Paul arrives at the airport with no wallet, money or ID. He sees Rose and, thinking she is Lily, runs up to her and gives her a hug. After she clears up who she is, Rose gives him money to get to the hospital to see his mom. Paul shares a warm reunion with Jen and Hal and learns that Craig is the number one suspect in the boathouse explosion. Paul is determined to nail Craig. He calls BROs corporate office to gather the companys recent financial transactions, hoping that they will prove that Craig is guilty. Katie is ready for a night of passionate love making with Simon. She cleans herself up for him and they share a deep kiss. Things start to get heated when there is a knock on the door. Simon finds Rose at the door and she tells him that Lucinda is willing to give him a blank check if he will go to Malta and help Lily. Furious that Lucinda thinks she can buy him, Simon leaves Katie behind and storms out of the Lakeview to go confront Lucinda. Meanwhile, Lily meets a woman on her plane to Malta who knows the location of the castle that Luke and Holden described. The woman offers Lily a place to stay in Malta and Lily graciously thanks her. When Lily is gone, the woman calls one of the guards outside the dungeon where Luke and Holden are being held to tell them that Lily is on her way. In the storage room of the opera house, Holden finds a small hole in the wall and starts pulling out the insulation. A guard comes in and explains why they were moved from the dungeon and demands that Holden hand over his wedding ring. When Holden refuses the guard pins him to the wall and Luke screams in fear. Not wanting to upset Luke, Holden hands over his wedding ring. They go back to work on making the hole in the wall bigger. Back in the dungeon where they were being held, two guards shoot up the walls, riddling the place with bullets. The guard then drops Holdens wedding ring on the floor of the dungeon.

After Simon reprimands her for following them to Malta and explains to her what Lily has been through so far, Katie begins to feel sorry for the other woman.

John questions Ben about the miraculous about-face of Liens condition. Tom and Ben deny any knowledge of what caused Liens speedy recovery and John agrees to discharge her from the hospital. Ben makes Tom promise not to inform Lien of what they did so that Lien will not feel indebted to Ben and they will have a chance at a normal relationship. Tom convinces Lien to allow Ben to continue to administer her medicines at home so that John doesnt derail their special treatment. In Malta, Lily goes off to the fortress searching for Luke and Holden. She bribes a guard into allowing her access to the dungeon. When she enters, she finds the room riddled with bullets and soaked in blood. Meanwhile, Katie, disguised as a nun, follows Simon onto the plane for Malta. Simon asks a stewardess about the fortress that he suspects Lily might be headed for and she gives him directions on how to find it. When the plane lands, Simon sets off to find Lily. Katie follows Simon on a stolen bicycle. Simon walks in on Lily mourning alone in the dungeon. He tries to keep her optimistic and hopeful about Holden and Lukes whereabouts. Simon believes that if Damian could have faked their deaths in Chicago, the bullet-ridden dungeon might be another trick. While trying to convince her, he finds Holdens wedding ring in the drain. In the opera storage room, Luke and Holden devise a plan for their escape. They plan to make a lot of noise during a quiet part in an opera and catch the attention of the audience. While Luke sleeps, Holden confronts one of the guards about what they have planned for them and the guard informs Holden that he is expendable; only Lukes safety matters.

Lucinda tells Rose how much they need Paul on their side against Craig. Rose recognizes Paul from the airport and realizes that she helped Paul out once before. Lucinda tells Paul that she would like to make a deal to obtain the WorldWide stock that Craig bought from her. Paul reveals that he wants to bring Craig down, but he doesnt need to involve himself with Lucinda. Margo walks in on Jack and Jessica discussing Craigs case and she demands to know why she wasnt informed that Craig was in jail. Jack turns the tables on Margo and confronts her about why she didnt arrest Craig at the airport when she discovered that he had jumped bail. When Margo explains that she questioned Craig and believes he is innocent, Jack asks her to step down from the investigation. Paul arrives and informs Margo that he was the one who notified the police that Craig was in New York and he asks Margo for a search warrant for Craigs apartment. Margo denies his request however. Later, Rose tells Paul that she can get him inside Craigs suite if the police wont help him. In Malta, Katie hitchhikes around Malta. Meanwhile, Simon tries to convince Lily that nothing may be how it appears and Holden and Luke may still be alive. Simon and Lily go back to Lilys room in Senora Cordinas home and Simon is immediately suspicious. He thinks it is too coincidental that she was there to help Lily and he doesnt think they should trust anyone. Simon agrees to sleep in the room with Lily, so she will feel safer, when an exhausted Katie bursts into the room. Holden and Luke continue to work on their hole in the wall. When they hear a pause in the opera music they start to make as much noise as they can, only to discover that they were listening to a rehearsal and the premiere of the opera is the next night. Holden tells Luke that when the music gets loud they will crawl through the hole in the wall, blend in with the crowd at the opera and escape. After Jake and Molly accept Lucinda's plan to throw them a dream wedding as a thanks for rescuing Matthew, Lucinda shows Molly everything she has planned while Jake meets Jacques, the caterer.

Once Barbara awakens, Paul calls Jack in to get a statement from Barbara, but when she is questioned, Barbara reveals that she has no memory of the explosion whatsoever.

Curtis is thrilled when Ben talks about how serious he and Lien are getting and starts planning for the three to be a family, not realising that Lien is reconsidering her relationship with Ben.

Desperate to keep Craig from being released, Barbara maintains her conviction that he was the man who attacked her although she has no memory of the event.

Simon and Katie watch Lily and notice a strange man struggling with her, who turns out to be Damian's brother Dante. Simon manages to rescue her and she takes off, looking for Luke and Holden.

Jack is forced to issue a subpoena to Carly for her to appear in court after Barbara's account of Carly and Craig's relationship, but he tells her the questions they'll ask, and swears he trusts her.

Lily holds Señora Cordina at gunpoint and demands that she contact Damian to arrange the release of her husband and son, but Cordina admits that the real problem is Damian's illegitimate younger brother, Dante.

After Luke reminds Holden that he didn't like Damian having a gun, Holden reluctantly turns his gun over to Friar Domenico.

Despite Isaac suggesting that Ben back off of Lien, he decides to pop the question, not realising that Lien is not in love with him.

When Barbara refuses to see her daughter, Bryant does his best to comfort Jennifer, and asks her if she would like to move in with him.

Emily reluctantly agrees to spend the night at Hal's place with Daniel after hearing noises in the house.

Paul thanks Rose for bringing him the security photos, then asks her for a favor. At Paul's request, Rose tells Carly that security photographs are destroyed after a few weeks.

Carly and Jack are on tenterhooks as they wait for Barbara to testify, not realising that Jessica has the photographs that could blow her out of the water.

Lien finally tells Ben that she just can't marry him, and after he furiously storms out, Lien tells Tom that she is going to take that job in Washington.

Holden realises that the friar is a fraud when he sees him wearing a Rolex, and after the friar falls to his death, Holden assures Luke that everything will be alright.

Curtis and Isaac convince Ben not to let Lien leave believing he hates her, and before she leaves, the two share one final dance.

Molly is worried that Nick is going to reveal her past with him, and confides in Kim that there are things she isn't proud of.

Carly is terrified that Jack will hate her after her testimony, and she believes her worst fears are coming true when Jessica produces the pictures of her kissing Craig.

Emily is unable to convince Hal to tell Jessica that he believes Barbara was lying about seeing Craig at the boathouse.

Sierra and Lucinda continue to argue over Craig's guilt, and Bryant begs Lucinda to walk softly with Sierra or it could destroy their relationship.

When Julia learns that Carly was visiting, she tells the nurse that everything is falling apart, and makes plans to get out to go see Carly.

Although Jessica does her best to make Craig look guilty by bringing up when he tried to bomb Steve Andropolous, Emily manages to convince Owen Dever to confess to the attack, which was meant to kill Jack.

Julia prepares to rid herself of Carly once and for all but suddenly Jack is there, and offering Julia an engagement ring.

Carly promises Parker that they will lead a normal life from then on, and tries to give Jennifer advice on her relationship with Bryant.

Bonnie McKechnie is back in town, making a fuss at the Lakeview because her masseuse is late, while her father Duncan arrives at the station to let Jessica know that Bonnie is missing.

When Craig accuses Barbara of lying on the stand, Paul takes a walk to think about what has been said, and has a vision of his father James.

Margo is both shocked and relieved when Jack is suspended from the police force for hiding crucial information and hands his badge and gun into Hal.

Even though Katie has returned to Oakdale and is getting relationship advice from her brother Craig, Simon has remained in Malta to help Lily get her husband and son back.

Rose blackmails Craig into agreeing to drop the lawsuit against BRO by threatening to force Lucy to testify in court about the chocolates.

While making arrangements about Parker's visitation, Carly tells Hal that Emily is obviously crazy about him, prompting him to ask Emily out on a date.

Once Jake convinces Molly that Mary was behind everything, they fire her on the spot, and Donna decides to look after her grandchildren while planning the wedding.

Damian agrees to sign the Grimaldi empire over to Dante on the condition that Lily and Luke are not hurt. When Dante threatens to go back on his word, he's stopped by an armed Lucinda.

Jennifer goes to the cottage looking for Bryant, and is shocked when a naked stranger rushes out of the bathroom after she screams in frustration and introduces himself as Bryant's cousin, Billy.

Rose admits to Paul that her Atlantic City friends embarrass her. He tries to console her and reveals some of his character flaws, including the fact that he tried to kill his own father. He admits that the darker side of his soul haunts him. Both agree to forgive the others shortcomings and lean in for a kiss, but are interrupted again by Mitzi. Rose rejoins the gang in the Lakeview and leads them all in a showgirl style dance. In the lounge, Katie lies to Bruno and says that she is not married. He leads her outside and they share a dance. When she finally confesses that she is married, Bruno doesnt seem to mind and tries to create a more intimate setting. Katie manages to stall him. Bryant and Craig work on mending their relationship. They argue about Craigs ownership of Lucindas WorldWide stock. Craig refuses to return it and explains his business tactics to his son. Bryant confides in Craig that he is having problems with Jen. Katie joins Craig and the two continue to complain about their love lives. Cass arrives to give Craig some bad news about his stock. Meanwhile, Barbara sees how much Jen needs her and allows Jen to give her a hug. Afterwards, she orders Jen to leave and never come back. Jen runs to the cottage looking for Bryant. Paul confesses to Barbara that BRO is in financial trouble and they need to win the WorldWide stock back from Craig. The judge arrives for the arbitration and both Craig and Barbara state their positions on why they deserve sole ownership of the stock. The judge reviews their arguments and decides that they should have joint ownership of the stock. Craig asks to speak with Barbara alone and Paul begrudgingly agrees. Craig proposes to Barbara that they work together to overthrow Lucinda, leaving Barbara to be the richest woman in Oakdale. Emily returns to Hals house to pick up her shoes. She and Hal talk and decide that dating is just too hard, so they are going to hang out instead. Each apologizes for their behavior and Emily clarifies that the job offer will help Carly, not Craig. Hal promises to ask Carly what she thinks about Emilys idea. He then asks Emily for another date and she accepts. In Chicago, Jack arrives at Carlys hotel room. They argue about her running away from Oakdale. When Carly asks Jack to leave, he pulls her into a long kiss.

Craig suggests to Barbara that they vote together at the upcoming WorldWide stock meeting so that they can overthrow Lucinda. Craig tells Barbara that joining forces might be the only way to save BRO from financial ruin. He tells Barbara about the deal that Paul has made with Rose and insists that Barbara is being manipulated by her son. Paul returns just in time to hear Craig say this and he attacks Montgomery. They leave the judges chambers. Meanwhile, Simon is startled when he finds Katie making wine in the bathtub with Bruno. Weakened by his knife wound, Simon collapses on the floor. Bruno leaves after learning that Simon is Katies husband. Katie tends to Simon and informs him that she is dating Bruno now. Simon tries to convince Katie that Bruno is using her, but a defensive Katie asks Simon why he cares if their marriage isnt real. When Craig and Cass return to Craigs suite, Craig gives Simon a check that he owes him for services rendered. Simon realizes that this is his ticket out of Oakdale. Craig tells Cass his theory that the only way to destroy Lucinda is to make sure that BRO fails. Lucinda returns home and finds Rose and Mitzi dancing in her library. Lucinda updates Rose on what happened in Malta and then tells Mitzi to leave her house. Rose objects to how rudely Lucinda is talking to one of Roses oldest friends. After apologizing, Lucinda invites Mitzi to stay in the guesthouse. Paul goes to Lucindas after the arbitration and admits that he is concerned about how Barbara will vote at the upcoming stockholders meeting. He thinks that Craig has placed doubts in Barbaras head about where Pauls loyalties lie. At Fairwinds, Barbara is furiously working on her sketches, but soon breaks down in tears. Simon shows up at the airport and almost comes to blows with Bruno. Simon tries to convince Katie not to go away with Bruno, but since he cant admit that he loves her, Katie informs Simon that they are through. Simon warns Katie that if she gets on the plane with Bruno, he will leave Oakdale and she will never be able to count on him again. Katie kisses Simon passionately and says goodbye. Carly goes to Fairwinds hoping to interview Barbara, but meets Paul instead. Carly offers to write a positive piece on Barbaras comeback if Paul will just give her a glimpse of what BRO. has planned for their spring line. After Paul turns her down, Carly calls for Parker, who enters the room carrying some of Barbaras sketches. Carly sneaks a peek and notes that Barbaras drawings are a mess. Paul accuses Carly of spying for Craig and trying to ruin BRO. Carly assures him that she won't breathe a word about what she has seen.

Isaac agrees to give Bryant back his old job at Java. Molly, Carly and Abigail take care of the last minute wedding details, while Donna kicks Jake out of his home. Jen arrives to see Abigail and the girls go to the rooftop. Jen confides in Abigail that she lost her virginity. Adam overhears just as Jen reveals that she and Bryant have never made love. Before Jen can tell Abigail that she was talking about Billy, he arrives with Bryant. While Abigail and Jen discuss the situation, Adam tells Billy that he should never have slept with Jen and he should leave town. Bryant tries to convince Billy to attend Molly and Jakes wedding with him. Donna and Molly bond when Molly asks to wear Vickys Scottish coin as her something old to the wedding. After, Carly and Molly decide to go to Als for ice cream. Meanwhile, Hal visits Jake and tells him that he wont go to the wedding unless he can take Emily as his date. Jake agrees and Hal leaves him alone to enjoy his pre-wedding solitude. Simon goes to Craigs Lakeview suite to search for Katie. Craig tries to make Simon jealous and tells him that Simon is too late. Katie is off enjoying herself with Bruno. When Simon leaves, Craig goes to Jakes apartment and finagles a wedding invitation out of Donna. At Java, Katie sulks while Bruno tries to lift her spirits by reminding her how he bailed her out of jail. Bonnie overhears their conversation and reports to Isaac that she thinks Katie is in trouble. When Katie asks Bruno what is to stop her from walking out on him, Bruno states that he now owns her. A scared Katie agrees to stay. He leans in to kiss her just as Simon arrives. Broken-hearted, Simon leaves. Holden confides in Jack that he thinks Dante is still after Luke. He asks Jack to design a security system for his home. When Jack leaves, we see Dante lurking outside.

Craig tells Katie that Simon was looking for her. She is worried about what Simon may have seen, but has a new set of worries when Bruno arrives with gifts for her and suggests that they celebrate their honeymoon after Jake and Mollys wedding. Before their nuptials, Jake and Molly have a secret rendezvous in Lucindas living room. They express their love for one another until Isaac manages to pull them apart. Jake goes to prepare for his wedding day and talks with Marley who gives him her blessings. Molly has a heart-to-heart with Abigail about finding true love. Nick eavesdrops on the mother-daughter moment. Donna offers to be Mollys mom for the day and Molly starts down the aisle. Meanwhile, Mitzi has a run-in with an inexperienced Italian caterer with a ponytail Dante! Lucinda sees Mitzi and sends her off to find Rose, who has gone shopping to find the perfect dress to wear to the wedding. Mitzi goes to Lilys house to look for Rose, but finds Jack installing the security system instead. She invites him to go to the wedding with her and mentions the Italian caterer. Suspecting the caterer might be Dante, Jack agrees to go to the wedding. Later, Mitzi finds an unconscious man in the guesthouse. The wedding guests are surprised to see Emily and Hal arrive together. When Simon stops by to say goodbye to Lily, she tells him that he should allow himself to love Katie. At Fairwinds, Paul informs Barbara that her time is up and he wants to see her sketches. Paul decides that they are not useless and tells his mom that he has to save BRO. Barbara accuses him of being in cahoots with Carly. They argue and Paul leaves. While he runs to see Rose, Barbara gets a spooky phone call. Lucinda tells Rose that Paul has been looking for her. A transformed Rose, wearing a classy dress, goes to meet him in the garden. Unfortunately, Paul cant get his mind off of business. He is transfixed on the bridesmaid dresses and barely notices Rose as the wedding begins.

Mitzi tells Jack about the unconscious man that she found in Lucindas guesthouse. They revive the man, who claims not to remember how he was knocked out. Jack makes sure the man is taken care of and informs Lucinda about his suspicion that Dante is here and may be disguised as a caterer. Despite Lilys pleading, Luke runs off without telling his parents where he is going. Luke, Curtis and Will play hide and go seek in Lucindas guesthouse. When Luke is alone, Dante surprises him and says that he is going to take him to his parents who are looking for him. Simon asks Katie if she is happy with her new life with Bruno. Katie tries to break things off with Bruno, but he insists that she owes him. He reveals that he is wearing a shoulder holster, and Katie fears that Bruno will hurt Simon. To protect Simon, Katie asks Simon to leave her alone. Jen tells Billy that she is back together with Bryant. When Bryant arrives, Billy leaves. Jen goes to hide out in Lucindas living room. When Bryant finds her, she tells him to go enjoy the wedding. He leaves Jen, but sees Billy watching her through the window. Paul cant keep his eyes off of Mollys wedding gown. As the wedding begins, Abigail sings a song to Jake and Molly, while Nick videotapes the ceremony. After including their children in their vows, Jake and Molly are finally pronounced man and wife. Paul apologizes to Rose for not paying much attention to her and goes to get them champagne. Paul runs into Molly and learns that her dress was designed by Carly. He interrupts Carly and Jack to offer her a chance to design for BRO.

Bruno informs Katie that they are leaving Oakdale immediately. Simon breaks down the door of the Lakeview and charges towards Bruno, who drops his gun. Katie picks it up. When she goes to fire it, she discovers that it is a water pistol. Simon tosses Bruno out, kisses his wife, and carries her to bed. Just as they are about to make love, Katie tells Simon that she wants to wait. Molly and Jake go to see Lucinda. Molly and Lucinda commiserate over what it is like not to know what your child is thinking. Lucinda is concerned that Sierra has turned to Craig for comfort. Meanwhile, Nick pays Abigail a visit. He gives her a video that he made of her performance at the wedding and tells her it is a goodbye present. Nick tells her that they shouldnt be friends anymore. She asks if he is leaving because of Molly. He replies that he likes her too much to be near her and leaves. When Molly and Jake return, Abigail confronts Molly about why she hates Nick. Craig asks Hal to help him keep Jen and Billy apart. Hal is reluctant to believe that Jen was involved with Billy and tells Craig that he cant keep them apart. When Billy tells Jen that they cant see each other anymore, Jen reveals that she told Craig the truth about the two of them. Billy is still afraid that their being together will hurt someone, but Jen manages to convince him otherwise. Later, Billy informs Craig that he is going to stay in Oakdale. At Fairwinds, Jack questions James about his involvement in getting Roses rap sheet for Barbara. James claims not to know what Jack is talking about, and insists that he has not had any contact with Barbara since he returned to town. Stenbeck leaves and Jack confronts Barbara about whether or not she knew that James was in town. Barbara lies, but Jack doesnt believe her. After Jack sets off to find Paul, James returns. Barbara, fearing that Paul will find out that she used James to blackmail Rose, kicks James out of her house.

Abigail asks Molly why she doesnt trust her with Nick. Taken aback by her daughters fierceness, Molly asks if Abigail has a crush on Nick. Abi denies feeling anything for Nick but friendship. Molly confides in Jake that Nick is going to be a problem for them. Katie tells Simon that they have to wait until Halloween - their anniversary - before they can make love again in order to undo all of the bad karma they have experienced in the past year. Simon tries to convince Katie that they shouldnt wait any longer than they have to make love, but eventually agrees not to touch Katie until Halloween. Jack warns Carly that she should steer clear of working for BRO because he believes that James Stenbeck is looking to cause trouble for her. Carly promises that shell be careful, but she refuses to quit her job. At Als Diner, Rose takes Luke out for sundaes in memory of Bryant. Paul arrives and asks Rose why she ended their relationship. Rose manages to evade his questions. She meets with Jack and tells him that she needs to know how Barbara got a hold of her police record. Jack agrees to look into it, but thinks that she should tell Paul the truth about her past. Rose is concerned about the effect that her past will have on her dad, Lucinda and Worldwide, especially when Lucinda tells her to downplay her showgirl past for her Worldwide bio. Later, Paul tells Carly that he wants to stop lying to Barbara and confess that Carly is designing for BRO. Carly is concerned that Barbara will pull the plug on her designs if she discovers that Carlys designs were being shown on the BRO runway. Jake is furious to hear that Nick set Molly up to take the fall for a crime that he committed and sets off to confront him. At Java Underground, Craig and Isaac drink a toast to Bryant. Craig thanks Isaac for his support of Bryant and leaves for Lucindas post-funeral reception. Jessica, Bonnie and Lisa stop by Java on their way to Lucindas and Bonnie gives Isaac a hard time about his not wanting to attend the reception. They try to find the Cadillac that they first made love in, but discover that it was sold to Nancy Hughes. They track Nancy down and persuade her to lend them the car for the night. Simon and Katie finally get to make love as husband and wife. At Lucindas house, Sierra and Craig argue over how to tell Lucy about Bryants death. Carly sees Jack arrive. He tells her that now is the time for her to be there for Craig. Carly comforts Craig and admits that she has feelings for him. Jack looks on as the two embrace one another. Rose faints when Paul expresses his love for her. Jack approaches Paul and informs him that James Stenbeck has returned to Oakdale and Barbara knows that he is in town. He approaches Sierra about saying a few words about Bryant. Billy announces to Bryants family and friends that he will honor his cousins memory. Jen, confused by what to do with Bryants trust fund and upset by Billys decision, arranges to meet with Barbara. After the reception is over, Mitzi keeps Jack company at Als diner, Paul is suspicious of Barbara back at Fairwinds, and Carly stands by Craig.

Katie drags in her old hope chest and explains to Simon that when she was a little girl, she filled the chest with everything that she thought would make for a perfect marriage. Each fantasizes about the others expectation of marital bliss. Simon promises that he wants to make Katie happy, even if it mean that his only adventure will be a 9-to-5 job. Sierra returns to Lucindas and is furious with her mother for having told Craig that she left town. She insists on seeing Craig again to repair the damage that Lucinda has caused. He declares that all he wants is to make her happy; he even got a job at WorldWide. They make love. At Java, Isaac asks Ben to take over at the bar while he and Rose jet off to New York to surprise Bonnie and Paul. Jessica arrives and she and Ben work the bar together. He opens the door to a crying Abigail and comforts her. Molly decides to ask Holden to talk to Abigail about her relationship with Nick. Lily tells Rose that she knows the perfect place for her and Paul to move into Cals old house. Rose thinks its a great idea, and rushes off to tell Paul. Margo urges Jack to pursue Carly before Craig manipulates her into marrying him. Paul gives Carly the contract from BRO. He reveals that Jack, not Craig, is the one who persuaded him to give Carly credit for her designs. Paul insists that Jack really loves her and convinces her to arrange a meeting between them. Carly tells Craig about the contract from BRO and asks him to sign for her dress that is being shipped back from the fashion show. Carly lies to Craig about meeting Jack and leaves. Craig looks over her contract, determined to lead Carly away from BRO. Carly thanks Jack for his help at the fashion show, and Jack is disappointed that is the reason she called him. Later, Katie is on the hunt for her wedding reception. She finds Carly and Jack together and immediately alerts Craig. He arrives at Jack and Carlys table just as Jack is asking Carly if Craig makes her happy. In Craigs suite, Carlys bridal dress from the BRO show arrives and Katie signs for it. Meanwhile, Simon goes to see Lily to plead with her to help him plan Katies perfect wedding and Lily reluctantly agrees, despite Holdens concerns. Simon calls Katie to find out what she really wants and arranges to meet for lunch. Katie believes that this means that her wedding is getting started. She opens the box and finds the wedding dress, which she immediately puts on.

Molly and Jake tell Holden that Nick is dangerous, and hes trying to turn Abigail against Molly. Meanwhile, Abigail confides in Nick about Adam. Nick comforts her and tells her that he loves her. Abigails cell phone interrupts their kiss and she leaves to meet up with Holden. Later, Jake tries to get into Nicks apartment, but is stopped by his landlady, who tells him that she saw Nick kissing a young woman. When Holden asks Abigail about her love life, Abi realizes that Molly told him to talk to her. After speaking to Jake, Molly charges in on Abigail and Holdens meeting. Abigail is furious with both of them and leaves. Katie walks into the Lakeview dining room and invites everyone to her wedding. Carly recognizes the wedding gown and demands that Katie take it off immediately. Simon breaks the news to Katie that they are not getting married today. Back in the suite, Katie demands to know where and when their wedding will take place. Simon relents and is about to spill the details, when Katie stops him. Paul corners Carly to ask if she is going to sign the contract. Carly insists that she will only sign with BRO if Barbara is on board. Later, Craig tells Carly that he made a phone call that may change her life: a famous designer is interested in meeting her. Carly is thrilled and she and Craig move off to her bedroom. At Fairwinds, Barbara, listening to James advice, pretends to be excited about the sales figures for Carlys spring line. Lucinda arrives and can't believe that Barbara doesnt know where James is. She warns Barbara that if he hurts Lucinda or her family, Barbara will pay. Barbara gives Paul the sales figures and Paul is wary of her change in attitude regarding Carly. Paul wants to talk to Barbara about James, who steps out of the shadows and agrees to talk. Later, Lucinda advises Rose to break up with Paul to put more distance between herself and James.

Bonnie lies to Isaac about lining talent for the upcoming holiday benefit party. Simon arrives and warns Bonnie to be on the look out for Katie, who may be dressed as a bride. Lily and Margo arrive to help Simon plan his wedding to Katie. Katie sees them meeting and pleads with Bonnie to listen in on Simons conversation and report back to her. Bonnie agrees, but makes Katie promise that she owes Bonnie a favor. Bonnie overhears Simons plans to give Katie the wedding that she has outlined in her wish book when she was barely a teenager. She tries to steer Simon away from the juvenile references in Katies wish book and then reports back to Katie. Simon finds Katie and learns that she just wants a simple wedding. Rose and Mitzi figure out that Roses secret admirer is her ex-boyfriend from Atlantic City, Vince OMalley. Paul overhears their conversation and Rose is forced to come clean about who the flowers are from. She assures Paul that there is nothing between her and Vince. Carly agrees to allow Craig to accompany her to Paris. She tells Hal about her plans to go to Paris. Barbara makes her pitch urging Carly to stay with BRO. She admits to Carly that Craig had the opportunity to stop her from ruining Carlys clothes in New York, but didnt take it. When Craig arrives, Carly greets him with a slap and demands to know the truth about what happened in New York. Barbara returns to Fairwinds and finds a message from James - a page from the Atlantic City phone book with Vince OMalleys name circled.

Emily advises Molly to change her reaction to Nick to make him seem less appealing to Abigail. At Als, Billy finds Brandy and introduces himself. After some small talk, Brandy admits that she went out with Adam as a favor for an older guy who wanted to date Abi. Billy shares what he has learned with Adam, Hal and Molly. Hal tries to convince Molly that everything will be fine. He recommends that she go home and wait for Abi while he tries to scare Nick into leaving town. Meanwhile, Abi asks Nick to forgive her for not believing him about Brandy. He does and the two head off to Nicks apartment. Simon is furious that Craig is too preoccupied with himself to walk Katie down the aisle at her wedding. He advises Craig that in order to get Carly back he should stop being so selfish. Hit by what Simon said, Craig tells Katie that he is going to try to be at her wedding. Katie, completely covered so that Simon cant see her, accompanies Simon to the church and regales him with stories of what she pictured her dream wedding to be. They arrive at the candlelit, flowered filled church where Katie is distraught that no guests are there yet. She believes its a miracle when some lambs arrive and it begins to snow, just as she had hoped in her dream wedding. Carly promises Hal and Parker that she will be back from Paris by New Years Eve. Jack tells her that he hopes she is happy in Paris, but admits he still cares for her. A frustrated Carly wishes Jack would have told her sooner! Craig arrives to say goodbye and overhears them talking. Carly assures Jack that her relationship with Craig is over and she would like to get together with Jack when she returns.

Katie and Simon prepare to wed without any guests, when the church fills with their family and friends. Craig gives Katie away, she and Simon exchange their vows and the wedding goes off without a hitch. Nick gives Abigail a ring as a going-away present. He explains that he cannot stay in the same town since Molly and Jake have it out for him. Abi cries to Molly that Nick is leaving town and allows her mom to comfort her. Meanwhile, Hal warns Nick to stay out of Abigails life. When Hal leaves, Nick realizes he has to rush his plan along. Rose assures Paul that Vince will not come to Oakdale to find her. Lucinda interrupts them to show them a message from Vince. Paul reveals that Lucinda asked Paul to stay out of Roses life. Paul accuses Lucinda of finding Vince to keep him and Rose apart. Rose confronts Lucinda and demands that she stay out of her personal life or shell quit and expose WorldWides secrets. Lucinda fires Rose for threatening her and Rose fires Lucinda from being her mentor. Lucinda agrees to stay out of Roses love life and she rehires her. At Fairwinds, Paul persuades Barbara to write a press release congratulating Carly on her new job.

Katie wants to play with her presents and attempts to make strawberry daiquiris with her new blender. She and Simon are interrupted when the newspaper arrives with their wedding announcement. Simon is unhappy that the announcement mentions his four failed previous marriages and he assures Katie that this marriage is not going to end. Emily concocts an idea that Daniel didnt wander out of Als on his own, but was taken from her. When Hal doesnt buy into her theory, she tells him that she needs some time alone. Despite what Bonnie tells Isaac, she pleads with Jessica to help her plan the benefit, claiming to be in over her head. Jessica suggests that they make Oakdale the star and hold a talent show. Ben asks Jessica to be his date and she agrees as long as they keep it a secret. Meanwhile, Jack and Isaac make plans for the benefit. Jack is excited that he is going to bring Carly and that Craig is no longer in the picture. Craig is thrilled that Lucy has come to visit him. Lucy convinces Sierra, despite her misgivings, to allow her to spend the night with Craig. In Paris, the chauffeur tells Carly to rest because it will be a while until they get to Rimbauds estate. Carly asks how long they will be travelling, but the chauffeur refuses to answer her and she starts to grow concerned.

Lucy tells Sierra that she wants to stay in Oakdale with Craig. Sierra refuses Lucys request. Lucy pleads with her dad. She lost Bryant - she doesnt want to lose Craig, too. As soon as she gets a moment alone, Lucy calls her boarding school, pretends to be Sierra, and takes herself off of the spring enrollment list. Katie, Simon, Margo and Tom meet for dinner. Simon asks Tom to put in a good word for him with Lucinda for a job. Meanwhile, Hal tells Emily that she will feel better if she can say goodnight to Daniel. Adam, following Toms instructions, refuses to let Emily see her son, but eventually gives in and lets her upstairs to have some private time with Daniel. After Emily leaves, Adam hears glass breaking followed by Daniel crying. When Adam informs Tom and Margo of what happened, they desert Simon and Katie. Dahlia, a woman sitting at the bar, recognizes Katie from her days as a WOAK anchor and offers her a job as an aerobics instructor. At Toms house, the police arrive and find a ladder and a glove outside of Daniels room. Hal begrudgingly identifies the glove as Emilys and Tom suspects that she was trying to kidnap Daniel. Paul catches Rose lying about the fact that she was at the Lakeview. Rose admits that she wanted to confront Vince, but couldnt find him. Paul doesnt believe her because he found her slip in his room. Rose tries to prove that the slip he saw wasnt hers, but she cant locate her own slip. Paul plays Vinces message for Rose. Although she insists that the voice is not Vincents, Paul walks out on Rose.

Katie and Simon exchange Christmas gifts. Looking to the future, Katie promises to give Simon a house and a Lamborghini. When Simon apologizes for their current financial situation, Katie insists that she will get a job. When Simon doubts her, she makes a bet with him that she will get and hold onto a job. When Simon leaves, Katie considers calling Dahlia. Abi protests Holdens attempt to control who she dates. They argue and Abi insists that there is nothing he can do to keep her away from Nick. Holden holds his ground and locks Abi in the house, unaware that she has watched him set the alarm code. Meanwhile, Nick tells Molly that he will leave Abi alone if she gives him half a million dollars. He tells her to get the money to him by tomorrow night or he will take Abi away with him. Distraught, Molly leaves, while Nick and his woman celebrate. She gives Nick a music box for Christmas. Hal confides in Barbara how upset he is about Emilys sudden departure. Barbara tries to steer him away from any suspicious thoughts. Hal wonders when Emily will return and tries to defend her actions to her mother. At Fairwinds, Barbara and James toast to Emily and Carlys disappearances and Barbara tells him how much she is looking forward to the plan that will rid her of Rose

Jake arrives at Nicks apartment and finds Nick dead, with Molly holding the murder weapon, the broken music box. Molly tells Jake that she killed Nick in self-defense. The police arrive and Jake confesses to the murder to protect Molly. Molly insists that Jake rescind his confession and go home to take care of the twins and Abi. She tells her story and is booked by the police. Meanwhile, Abigail wakes up with Adam with no memory of how she got home. She admits that she remembers arguing with Nick at his apartment and that he hit her, but nothing after that. Jake tells Abi that Nick is dead and the police think Molly killed him. Simon plans a surprise romantic night for Katie. Lily interrupts their night to ask Simon to help her find Rose. Simon agrees to help and Katie encourages him to go when she gets a call from Dahlia to set up an audition. Lily and Simon determine that Rose didnt pack for herself, or she never would have left her mothers ring behind - so, she must have been kidnapped. Lily thanks Simon and sends him back to Katie. At Java, Sierra realizes that Lucy has withdrawn herself from school. Lucy begs Billy to hide her and he complies, but Craig and Sierra eventually locate her.

Margo agrees to take Abi to Nicks apartment to jog her memory. When Abi arrives, she begins to have some audio flashbacks and remembers how angry Nick was at her. Meanwhile, Tom asks Molly for more information about Nicks murder, but she claims she has told him everything and insists that Abi doesnt know anything. Adam comes to the courthouse to tell Jake where Abi is and they leave to stop her. Jake gets to Nicks apartment and demands that Margo leave Abi alone. Later, the judge denies Mollys request to be let out on bail. Katie promises Simon that they will be very rich soon. Before she can explain, Craig and Lucy interrupt them. Katie and Lucy bond and Katie promises Craig that she will take care of her niece and take her shopping. She confides in Lucy about her new job opportunity and asks her to help keep Simon in the dark about her plans. Lucy does her best to sidetrack Simon as Katie slips off to her first aerobics class, but he suspects that Katie is up to something. Hal, Jack and Paul admit to Barbara that she does seem to be a common enemy for Emily, Carly and Rose. Barbara denies any involvement and tries to deflect their suspicions onto Craig. The men decide to do their own investigating. Jack confronts Craig about Carlys disappearance, but Craig believes she is in Paris and working for Rimbaud. Once he discovers for himself that Carly is missing, he considers hiring Simon to find her. Mitzi tells Paul that Barbara has blackmailed Rose in the past to get her out of Pauls life. Paul sets out to confront Barbara. At the spa, Rose hears Carlys voice nearby.

Katie is nervous about her abilities to pump up her aerobics class. She seems to be failing, until a shirtless Billy joins her class and inspires the women to workout. Despite the classs success, Katie is thrown when Dahlia tells her that she is expected to teach three classes a day. Meanwhile, Simon tries to get Lucy to confess to what Katie is up to. Craig approaches Simon to find Carly in Paris and after much convincing, Simon agrees. He approaches Katie about going off on a Parisian adventure with him, but she declines the offer. When Craig discovers that Lucy had spent the day with Billy, he forbids her from spending time with her cousin. Paul confronts Barbara about her attempt to blackmail Rose and he is convinced that she is in cahoots with James. Much to her dismay, she is forced to cop to the plea, but then claims that she learned from her mistake and is not connected to Roses disappearance. When Paul leaves, Barbara tries to get in touch with James to help her, but discovers that his phone has been disconnected. Kim visits Molly in jail and tells her that she made the arrangements to have Nick buried. At Nicks apartment, Jake accuses Margo of using Abigail to get evidence against Molly. To prove his point Jake starts to interrogate Adam, who doesnt respond well to the pressure. Margo corners Adam and demands that he tell her the truth about what he knows about Nicks murder. Abi grows concerned that she may be responsible for Nicks death and is distraught when she learns that Nick was buried without a funeral.

Katie decides that persuading men to join her class will inspire ladies to get involved as well. Simon tries to discern what Katie is up to, but they are interrupted by Dahlia, who Katie explains is her workout buddy. Dahlia raises some questions and some jealousy in Katie about who Simon will be spending his time with in Paris. Later, Simon reassures his wife. Jack gets a phone call from a scared Phil asking to meet up at the Old Mill. Jack confides in Paul that he thinks there is a connection to James and that Barbara is involved. He goes to meet Phil, who has been murdered before Jack arrives. Jack tries to stun Barbara into revealing her connection to Phil, but Barbara insists that she doesnt know him. Abi asks Adam to tell her what she cant remember about the night that Nick died. When he refuses, she tells him her plan to get hypnotized to remember what she is blocking out. Adam convinces Abigail that recovering her memory could hurt Mollys case. Abi goes to sleep and dreams about the night of the murder. In her dream, she sees Nick die, which convinces her that she was in the room for the murder. Meanwhile, Margo fills Hal in on the fact that she is investigating Adams involvement in the Scudder case. When the results show that Adams prints were on the key Margo found at the crime scene, she tells Hal that they have to remove themselves from the case. Hal argues that they should confront Adam first. She agrees and calls Adam to the station to discuss the key, which he identifies as his own. Adam explains the keys presence by claiming to have given it to Abigail, but Hal and Margo still think that he is lying.

At the police station, Abi tells Adam and Molly that she is determined to remember as much as she can to help Molly. She reveals that she recalls being in the room the night Nick died. Jake and Tom brainstorm for a way to get Molly to tell the truth. When Molly and Adam have finally convinced Abi not to testify, Jake comes by to insist that she does. Abi asks Jake to help her get professional help to regain her memory. Jack advises Margo to step down from the Scudder case because of her close affiliation with Adam. Margo calls Jessica and hands her the fingerprint report connecting Adam to the crime scene. Hal and Margo ask Adam to take a lie detector test. Katie hires Lucy to be her personal assistant to fulfill Lucys community service requirement. Simon and Katies goodbye is interrupted by Dahlia, who has a contract for Katie to sign. She drops it off and before Katie can sign the contract, Kim arrives to talk to her. Kim reveals that Dahlia had been collecting Katies tapes and doing research on her long before they accidentally met. Katie goes to Dahlia to confront her. Later, Billy tells Lucy about his affair with Jen and why Craig doesnt want her to see him anymore. Meanwhile, Craig and Jack meet with Simon to discuss the details of their strategy to locate Carly. Will and Hal ask Barbara to stay at the house. Barbara is elated to hear that Hal wants her around, but is disappointed when she learns that he plans on moving out with Emily when she is found. Barbara is determined not to let Hal slip away. Jen returns home and is shocked to see Barbara in the kitchen.

Katie starts auditioning men for her workout video. Simon walks in and Katie is forced to tell him the truth about her new job. Simon is immediately wary of whether or not Dahlia is on the level. Katie is upset by Simons lack of enthusiasm and they argue, until Katie realizes that they are having their first fight. Simon approaches Dahlia to warn her not to raise expectations too high. Jen finds Abi at Als Diner and the old friends catch up. Jen tries to comfort Abi, assuring her that she could never have killed Nick, but Abi is adamant about turning herself in. At the station, Hal and Margo dont believe Adams admission of guilt (that he killed Nick). They send him home and he runs to Jake and Molly to fill them in on what he did. He tells Molly that he confessed to the murder to buy Abi time to get out of town. Molly doesnt want Abi running from the law and they convince Adam that the best thing to do is take Abi to the police station. He agrees to pick her up, but when he finds her, he insists that they leave town immediately. Later, Jake, Molly and Tom arrive to reveal the whole truth to Margo while they wait for Adam to bring Abi. Jack is determined to find the link between Barbara, Stenbeck and the kidnappings. Jack convinces Hal to bring Barbara in for questioning. Meanwhile, after Barbara is spooked by a dream she had of James, John comforts her into revealing that she trusted the wrong person, but she doesnt give details. Barbara prepares for her perfect evening with her family, but Jack, Hal and Paul interrupt her idealistic image.

Katie and Lucy prepare for the arrival of the firemen who are going to appear in her workout video. Simon comes home and finds Dalmatians in his suite. When Dahlias credit card cant accommodate the firemens lodging at the Lakeview, they are forced to stay with Katie, ruining Simons plan to have some private time with his wife. When the firemen arrive, Simon waylays them to the restaurant for a free meal so he can be alone with Katie.

Margo insists that they call in the state police to help them find Adam and Abigail. The police report back to Margo after Adam and Abigail are spotted applying for a marriage license. Isaac asks Bonnie out on a date, sending her into a tizzy about what she should wear and where Isaac will take her. Craig returns home to find Dalmatians in his bed and firemen sleeping on his couch. Katie, Lucy and Dahlia arrive to straighten everything out. Simon questions Katie about Dahlias offer, but Katie takes offensive to his lack of support. Katie, Dahlia and Lucy escort the firemen to Java for the photo shoot, leaving Simon and Craig alone. Simon does some investigating and returns to Java to cheer Katie up with the news that Dahlias company seems to be legitimate.

Katie is excited by Dahlias confidence in her future as an aerobics superstar. When Simon remains skeptical, Katie believes that he is jealous of her success. Simon confronts Dahlia about what she is after and she reveals that she wants Simon. Mitzi goes to Lucindas house and finds a bored Lucy. Lucinda kicks Mitzi out after seeing that she gave Lucy a makeover. Lucy pleads with Lucinda to let her return home to Craigs suite, but Lucinda forbids it. Lucy confides in Billy how much she misses her dad and Billy advises her about how to deal with Lucinda. Later, Lucy confidently approaches Lucinda and declares that she is moving back in with Craig. At the police station, Jack continues investigating the evidence he found at Fairwinds. When Craig realizes that Jack isnt sharing everything he knows, Craig steals Jacks badge and manipulates an officer into revealing some information. He then stows himself away in a casket and arranges to be picked up by the same person who transported caskets for Stenbeck. Meanwhile, Lucinda occupies Jack and informs him that she is taking matters into her own hands to find James. Mitzi stops by to say goodbye to Jack, who offers to allow her to stay at his place now that Lucinda has given her the boot. At the spa, Dr. Weston reveals to Emily and Rose that his benefactor has taken care of Hal and he will not be running to their rescue. Rose pleads with Dr. Weston that she can give him money to free them, but he insists that he is not after money he is more interested in the experiment. He drugs Emily and carts her off to the next phase of her treatment.

Katie tells Dahlia and Simon how much she wants them to get along and Simon warns Dahlia not to make trouble. Dahlia responds by kissing him when Katie isnt looking. Simon breaks away from the kiss and goes to report to Katie what happened, but cant bring himself to break her heart. At Java, Bonnie looks through Jens Europe pictures and recognizes the Duke, her ex-fianc, in one of them. Jen reveals to Bonnie how much the Duke has missed her, but Bonnie cant stop thinking about Isaac. Lisa urges Jennifer to go see Barbara. Jack searches for his badge and discovers that the coffin he and Craig found at Fairwinds is missing. Putting two and two together, Jack tries to find Craig, who has stowed away in the coffin, which was boarded onto a private jet. Craig, posing as Jack, demands that the pilot tell him where he has been depositing the other coffins. The pilot gets a better look at the badge and realizes that Craig is a phony, but that doesnt prevent Craig from learning that the coffins were taken to France. Meanwhile, Jack returns home to find that Mitzi has cleaned his place, and is furious when he thinks that she accidentally threw away the information he needed to locate Craig. He apologizes when he realizes thats not true. Later, Craig lands and goes to fill Jack in on his discovery. Craig sees Mitzi in a robe and assumes that they are together now.

Jack insists that Craig return his badge and Craig, in turn, demands that Jack investigate his lead that Rose and Emily were shipped to Marseilles, France. Jack arrests Craig for impersonating an officer and hauls him down to the station. Craig tries to convince Jack that he needs him because he speaks French and can communicate with the French police, but Mitzi pipes up that she is fluent and agrees to help Jack investigate. Meanwhile, Katie gives Lucy her first driving lesson. After a series of mistakes, Lucy hits a police car and she and Katie are taken into the police station, where they see Craig in handcuffs. Katie tries to assure Craig not to worry, Lucinda will never find out about the accident when she and Simon arrive after having been notified. Paul tries to persuade Lisa, Kim and John not to coddle his mother, but they are determined to help her get well. At Lisas apartment, Barbara sees a perfect image of herself trying to coax her to return to her old way of life. Barbara refuses to return to her old ways and Lisa, Kim and John arrive to hear her scream when her imagination becomes too vivid.

Margo discovers a toothbrush, which she suspects is Brandys, in Nicks apartment. Brandy arrives and agrees to cooperate with Margos investigation. Brandy admits that she and Nick were lovers. After some snooping and questioning, Margo considers the idea that Brandy killed Nick and has her taken into police custody. John thinks that Barbara has been so jumpy because she is guilty of conspiring with James. Barbara finally confesses that she was responsible for the kidnappings, but also admits that she is not sorry for the outcome and would do it again. At the boathouse, James has hypnotized Hal and makes plans for the future, including making Hal respond to the King of Spades. At the police station, Jack threatens to go after Lucy unless Craig agrees to back off of the Carly investigation. Craig relents, but continues to torment Jack about his relationship with Mitzi. Meanwhile, Katie finds herself in big trouble for not even having a drivers license. Needing a lot of money to settle her fines, Dahlia arrives, prepared to write a substantial check. Later, Craig offers Mitzi a deal: hell help her out of her financial crisis if she seduces Jack. Realizing that Craig wants Jack out of the way so he can have Carly, Mitzi turns the table and tells Craig how much she wants him.

Nancy takes a look at her old Valentines cards and senses that her late husband Chris is still with her. She remembers their past together as the rest of Oakdale gets swept away with their dreams of love. Katie considers what her life would have been like if Simon never rescued her from the island. Two men have very different fantasies about Carly. Jack remembers the times they shared while Craig pictures them in a 1940s relationship, fraught with sexual tension. Oakdales younger residents celebrate the holiday as well. Adam and Abigail sit out on the rooftop together while Lucy dreams of falling in love for the very first time. The married couples also take this day to celebrate their love. Holden and Lily celebrate with Luke and Faith, Tom surprises Margo at the police station, Molly fantasizes about growing old with Jake, and Kim and Bob share a dance as they contemplate how long they have been together. Meanwhile, Paul dreams of Rose, hoping they will be together soon. At Java, Bonnie has a nightmare fantasy that she is Cinderella, but Isaac winds up being her Prince Charming. Lisa shares a dance with eight young men, each symbolizing one of her past husbands.

James advises Dr. Weston to speed up his treatments. He privately worries that Lucindas reward money and Jacks diligence will be a problem for him. At the police station, Jack is forced to turn away all the bounty hunters that have arrived to give information on Stenbeck and to collect on Lucindas reward money. Meanwhile, Mitzi continues to seduce Craig, but as soon as he responds to her kiss, she floors him by insisting that she could never seduce Jack because he loves Carly, unlike Craig. Pierre calls Mitzi from Marseilles with information about the coffins. She runs to the police station, tells Jack about Craigs proposition and fills him in about what Pierre discovered. She offers to accompany him to France, but he insists she stay out of it, for her own safety. Jack insists that he is going to France, no matter what Margo says. Mitzi goes back to Jacks to pack up her stuff and is met by James, posing as a meter reader. Margo and Jessica consider letting Abigail go because they have a new suspect, Brandy, not knowing that she just sprayed a cop with pepper spray and escaped. On the lamb, Brandy jumps into Craigs car and asks for his help. At the spa, Rose tries to stop Dr. Weston from taking Emily away, but fails and Emily is taken off to the next level. Rose demands that Libby allow her to see Carly. However, all she finds in the room with her is a corpse.

Margo tells Abi and Molly that the police have lost Brandy. Molly and Abi hang all their hopes on the fact that Brandy is Nicks killer. Meanwhile, Craig agrees to take Brandy to his apartment when she convinces him that she is trying to run away from an abusive boyfriend. Margo arrives and explains the truth to Craig. Margo takes Brandy down to the police station, where she antagonizes Abigail. Abi lunges at Brandy and the two girls fight. Later, Craig promises Lucy that he is going to try to be a better dad to her. James, disguised as a meter man, convinces Mitzi to let him look around Jacks apartment. While he is doing so, Mitzi reveals that Jack is going to France. James leaves and when Jack comes home to pack, Mitzi tells him what happened. Suspecting that Stenbeck was the meter man, Jack is sure that he is close to find Carly. Before Jack can leave for the airport, a brainwashed Hal calls him and insists that he not leave Oakdale. At the spa, Rose tries to question Dr. Weston about his research, but grows concerned when he evades answering her. Libby has a plan to help Rose escape and she shows Rose the transition room, which is filled with coffins.

Paul persuades Will not to run away and tries to ease his fears of being left alone. Jennifer and Paul realize that filling the void left by Barbara and Hal will be tougher than they imagined. At Java, Bonnie and Isaac try to set some ground rules for their relationship. Lisa gives the picture of the Duke to Bonnie and she doesnt tell Isaac the truth about who is in the picture. Kim and Nancy try to talk to Bonnie about love and what she should look for in a man. As they talk, she finds herself checking off Isaacs attributes. Later, Jen calls the Duke and tells him where he can find Bonnie. Suspicious about his phone call from Hal, Jack warns Mitzi to keep her guard up and he leaves to see Margo. Margo in turn cautions Jack that he could be playing into Stenbecks plan if he goes to France, but he insists on going. He unsuccessfully tries to talk Lucinda into rescinding her reward money for information on James. Mitzi gives him the information on the van service in Paris that picked up the coffins and Jack decides to go no matter what. At the police station, Brandy continues to aggravate Abigail and Molly and Margo must tear them apart. Abi examines her behavior and thinks she may have been capable of killing Nick. Molly tries to convince her otherwise and Abi goes home. She joins Adam on their rooftop and they share a peaceful moment together. Meanwhile, Brandy gives Margo and Jessica her alibi, which winds up checking out, and Margo has no choice but to arrest Abi. On the rooftop, Margo is forced to arrest Abigail, despite Adams protests.

.James impersonates a doctor and asks for a patients chart. Simon gets Katie an IOU for an adventure for her birthday and reluctantly reveals that Dahlia kissed him. Katie confronts Dahlia, who casually confesses to the crime and tries to explain her mistake. Meanwhile, Jack promises Margo that he wont be gone longer than a week, leaving Margo alone with all the phony Stenbeck bounty hunters. Simon asks Margo to do a background check on Dahlia, but Margo refuses and recruits Simon to work for the police. Jack forces Lucinda to help the police department field the calls for her reward money. He informs Lucinda and Lily why he is going to France. He then gets Lily to agree to allow Mitzi to stay at Roses for the time being. Jack goes home and is shocked to find Julia waiting for him, having baked cookies. At the police station, Abi is charged with second degree murder and let out on bail. Adam tries to lift her spirits by agreeing to go over what she remembers to help her piece together what happened the night of the murder. She recalls that the other person in the room was wearing boots and they decide to recreate the events at Nicks apartment, unaware that the person in the boots has been listening in. John overhears Paul on the phone with Wills school and secretly calls Barbara to come help her family. When Paul returns with a newly suspended Will and finds Barbara there, he yells at her for what she is doing to her family. Barbara decides to fight back to Paul, but her better self appears and warns her to stay away from her children.

Bonnie is devastated when Jen reveals that she told Ian where to find her. The Dukes charm sidetracks Bonnie when she tries to call to dissuade him from coming to Oakdale. Isaac confronts her and Bonnie admits the truth about the Duke and how Jen contacted him. As a symbolic gesture, Bonnie opts to burn her address book, just like Isaac did. They decide to go to dinner, but Bonnie stops in her tracks when Ian arrives at Java. Margo asks Simon to keep an eye on Jack and make sure that he isnt getting into any trouble. Simon agrees to help her out. Meanwhile, Katie gives Dahlia the boot, but is wowed by her proposals and considers her life filled with fame and fortune. Simon arrives and tells her not to throw away her dreams - just remain aware of who she is working with. He vows that no one will come between them and breaks the news that he is leaving town without her. They say their good-byes and Katie calls Dahlia to get back on track with their joint business venture. Simon reports to Margo that Jack never boarded his flight to Marseilles and they arrange to meet at Jacks house. Julia announces that she was released from the hospital. Jack tries to reason with her, but Julia is clearly unstable. When he tries to play her game, Julia recognizes his patronizing attitude. She uses a stun gun on him, then ties him up in a straightjacket and gags him. Barbara is torn about how to behave. Her imaginary self shows her how many people she is hurting by keeping what she knows about Stenbeck to herself and she finally vows to fix everything.

Ian confesses to Bonnie that hes been a fool and hes still in love with her. Isaac arrives in time to see him kiss her. He approaches them and demands that Ian leave, but Ian challenges Isaac about whether or not he loves Bonnie - and Isaac proclaims that he does! Katie gets upset when a strange woman comes by looking for Simon. At Java, Dahlia watches as Simon and Margo meet to discuss Jacks disappearance. Margo insists that Katie cant know about his new assignment for her own safety. Dahlia returns to Katies suite and encourages her suspicions when she tells Katie that she saw Simon at Java. Katie calls Simon on his cell phone and he lies about his location to protect her. Katie is upset and storms out to confront him. The strange woman tracks Simon down to Java and informs him that she represents Monique Ferraras estate and hands him a large check. Barbara tells Paul that she intends to turn herself in for her role in the kidnappings. She fills John in on her plans and refuses his suggestion that she obtain an attorney. Meanwhile, James prepares Hal for the next phase of their plan and goes to visit Lucinda. He insists that she pay him the reward money that she promised to pay anyone who found him in order to get him to turn himself into the police. Margo is shocked when Lucinda brings James down to the station moments after Barbara and John have arrived.

Paul learns that Barbara is trying to help convict James and attempts to shield Will from the news. Lucinda and John visit Paul, each trying to convince him to respond to Barbara in different ways. John hopes Paul will help his mother and Lucinda wants Paul to question her for information about Roses whereabouts. At the police station, Barbara reveals to James that she doesnt care about what happens to herself, she is only interested in bringing James down. Margo brings Barbara into the room while she interrogates James, but James manages to twist Barbaras words around and make her appear incompetent. James insists that Margo either charges him or let him go. Meanwhile, Katie finds Simon at Java and catches him in another lie. She storms off and he tries to follow her, but is called away when he gets some more information about Jacks whereabouts. He notifies Margo that Jack never used his passport. She insists that he stay on the case so they dont lose time. He returns to Katie to apologize and sets off again. Julia dreams of having a baby while Jack prepares for his escape. She finds him awake and he feigns delirium, claiming he wants to be with her again. When Julia leaves the house momentarily, Jack struggles through his pain and gets downstairs, manages to reach his cell phone and dials for help. At Java, Bonnie tells Ian that she wants to be with Isaac. Ian tries to convince her otherwise, citing that she still hasnt returned Isaacs sentiment that he loves her. Isaac kicks him out and challenges Bonnie about her feelings for him. Bonnie cant bring herself to say that she loves him, too.

Julia returns home and cuts off Jacks attempt to phone for help. Simon and Mitzi meet up to search Jacks house and look for clues about his disappearance. Simon finds Jacks file on Stenbeck and Mitzi searches upstairs, unaware that Julia has dragged Jack into the closet. Mitzi and Simon, frustrated that they havent found anything, set out to leave, but Mitzi sees the flowers she bought Jack are in the trash and immediately grows suspicious. James lawyer arrives at the police station and insists that his client cannot be held without any charges or proof. Jessica doesnt have any evidence connecting James to the crimes, so she is forced to call a recess until Jack returns. Meanwhile, John tells Paul that Barbara confessed. He heads out to the police station, leaving John and Lucinda at his home to watch after Will. John and Lucinda continue to argue, but agree to form a truce in order to protect Will. Paul calls Lily, who agrees to meet him at the station with Holden. Paul confronts James and demands that he reveal where he has taken Rose. Barbara attacks James when she discovers that her bail is being revoked and he is free to wander. Lily gets a premonition that Rose is in trouble and Paul receives a phone call from James promising to give him what he wants Roses location. At the spa, Rose is forced to drink the blue drink and unsuccessfully tries to fight off the effects of the drug.

Simon hides the check from Moniques estate from Katie, who is suspicious about all the secrets Simon has been keeping. Once alone, Katie discovers the check and tracks down where it came from. Bonnie confides in Jessica about how she is torn between Ian and Isaac. Making up her own mind, Bonnie leaves to meet Ian at the Lakeview. Ian tries his best to woo Bonnie and even gives her his familys coronet. Meanwhile, Isaac visits Jessica. He shows her the earrings that he bought for Bonnie and lets Jessica talk him into giving them to Bonnie. He sees her at the Lakeview with the coronet and departs with the earrings. Julia tries to get Jack in the mood to sleep with her by feeding him oysters. He resists, but persuades her that he is already in the mood; he just cant perform while he is tied down. Julia agrees to try and find another way to restrain him, but warns him if anything funny happens, shell kill Mitzi. Julia runs into Lucy and Craig at the Snyder barn and thinks that she has convinced Craig that she isnt interested in getting back together with Jack. At the police station, Mitzi arrives and insists that Margo send cops over to Jacks place. Margo doesnt think Mitzi has any real evidence and refuses to check out her claim. Mitzi decides to take matters into her own hands and goes to Jacks. She hears noises from upstairs and finds Jack all tied up. She tries to help him out - unaware that Julia has returned and is downstairs. Later, Craig reports back to Margo that he saw Julia.

Simon and Craig run into each other at Jacks apartment and Simon admits that he is working for Margo. They team up and discover a vial of Viagra in Jacks apartment and theorize that Julia is trying to get Jack to impregnate her. At the police station, Margo welcomes Hal home. When she tells him that Jack is missing, Hal becomes enraged. Hal shrugs off Margos concern for him and reveals that he has been working on the case. He claims that he has discovered that Stenbeck is completely innocent. Hal leaves a confused Margo behind to go check in on Jen and Will. Margo decides to keep Simons working on the case a secret from Hal. Frustrated that Jack isnt responding to her sexual advances, Julia blindfolds Jack and impersonates Carly, which arouses Jack. Julia tells him that to insure she is pregnant she is going to keep him around for a couple of weeks before she kills him. Meanwhile, Jennifer turns down a commercial opportunity in Japan. Bonnie arrives and shows her Ians coronet. Jennifer tries to persuade her to return to a life with Ian, but Bonnie is torn. She sets off to Java, where Isaac is under the assumption that she is returning to be with the Duke. When she arrives, Bonnie clears the air, promising that she isnt getting back together with Ian. Isaac asks her to give their relationship another chance and gives her the earrings he bought for her. Later, Ian shows up with Duncan, who is under the impression that Bonnie and the Duke are engaged. Paul encourages Jen to take the commercial gig. Barbara arrives and finds Paul waiting to hear from James about Rose. At the boathouse, Hal reports to James, who is happy that everything is progressing as planned.

Despite Barbaras request of Hal to do otherwise, he insists on going to meet James alone. At the boathouse, James tells Hal to make sure that Barbara arrives for his meeting with Paul. Jessica apologizes to Ben for having to cut their date short because of the case against Barbara. Hal assures Jessica that he will make sure that Barbara is taken into the police station. Hal goes home and finds Barbara preparing to follow Paul. He informs her that she has to go to the station, but allows her to convince him to let her follow Paul. Paul and Barbara arrive to meet James. Will is delighted to see Hal at home, but Hal is clearly still under James spell. Meanwhile, Duncan arrives to congratulate Bonnie on renewing her engagement with Ian. Bonnie corrects her father and introduces him to Isaac. Duncan leaves to question Jessica about Isaac and finds her with Ben. Jessica assures Duncan that Isaac is good for Bonnie and sends him away. At Java, Duncan gives Bonnie his blessing. Bonnie notifies Ian that she is not marrying him and confesses to Isaac that she loves him. Katie grows more frustrated by Simons secrecy when Margo confides in Simon that she needs him to help her out because she doesnt trust Hal. Katie complains to Margo that she is worried that Simon is lying to her, but Margo convinces Katie not to confront him. Later, Simon gets a list of ambulance services from Ben for Margo and gets an idea. He tries to give Ben the check from Monique for the hospital burn unit, but Bob thinks that Simon should discuss it with Katie first. When he returns home, Katie cant help but question Simon about the check.

Simon tells Katie that Monique was an ex-wife who died the day that he left her. Katie tries to convince Simon to keep the money so they can build a life together with it. Alone, Simon regrets not sharing the whole story with Katie. Jennifer returns home and notices that Hal is behaving strangely. He assures Jen that everything is alright. Margo, frustrated that Hal hasnt checked in and that they dont know where Barbara is, confronts him about not returning her phone calls. Hals temper flares and he insists that Margo back off. Meanwhile, at the boathouse, James reveals a piece of paper with Roses location on it and a cassette tape containing his confession for his role in the kidnappings. He places both items in a lantern and Barbara rushes at James in an attempt to save them from burning. James falls and the lantern drops igniting the boathouse. Paul gets Barbara safely out, calls 911 and goes back into the fire to save James. Barbara and Paul come to an understanding as the paramedics work on James and the firefighters contain the fire. Margo and Hal arrive on the scene. Hal is immediately concerned for James well being. At the spa, Rose finds herself wrapped up like a mummy and screams for help. Libby helps free Rose from her bindings, but they are almost caught by Hilda. Once alone again, Libby assures Rose that she is going to help her escape. Libby arranges to switch Roses body and ship her out of the spa in a coffin. She sedates Rose and tells her that when she wakes up to bang on the coffin and an airport official will help h
