A brief vid asking your opinion on a concept.
Thanks!
This vid is temporary. I'll take it down after the week-end.
PLEASE COMMENT! Thank You!
I square up the aluminum stock, and use a trick from Pierre Beaudry to square the vise onto the mill, it works quite well! I also drill the bolting pattern for the back plate, evaporative cooling jacket plate, and the lens and LED cob housing.
Thank You! Here's the latest shop shenanigans.
Shop vid for the build of a tool dynomometer. She's a little sketchy coming up to speed...
Thank you! (a lot)
Hi Guys! The tool dyno is progressing nicely! It's all fancied up with vibe damping mounts and home built Arduino tachometer.
Thank YOU!
Thank you very much for your help. I learned a lot about making my own lenses. Mainly, it's not easy, or simple. But I did have fun making a perfectly hemispherical cutting tool.

I build the carcass to see how it feels in the hand and test the blow out preventer and test out the retina burning function and test out how well it stands up to getting run over by a truck.

Thanks guys! I hope we will all enjoy the new gear. I've got a high speed 1000fps casio (it has workable resolution at 480fps) and a new main cannon HD video camera with omni directional Rode mike on the way. Cussing in STEREO!
Thank you! We've gathered enough parts to start the proof of concept for the HBR. This is gonna be fun!
Here's the blank git for the Arduino code to run the thing. If you are interested in doing up the code. I'm not 100% on the github thing so forgive me if it doesn't work and or is a cluster. https://github.com/Bumblefuck/HBR-Pro...
Industrial Automation Oddware. Behold the resolver, how it works and what it does. Is it better than an encoder?
