• The special's titled "Battlestar Galactica: The Miniseries" is a three-hour miniseries and served as a backdoor pilot for the 2004 television series.

• The special's titled "The Resistance" are a ten-part series of webisodes.

• "Battlestar Galactica: Razor" is a television film.

• The special's titled "Face of the Enemy" are a ten-part series of webisodes.

• The episode from Battlestar Galactica 4x21 (Daybreak Part 3) is missing from trakt because Part 2 & 3 were cut for tv so the two parts are together with shorter runtime. In the physical version of the series it is presented separately because it's the uncut version.

• "Battlestar Galactica: The Plan" is a television film.

• "Caprica" is a spin-off prequel.

• "Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome" is a prequel.
