The religious theme just doesn't work, and the logic of the science of the show is starting to be stretched out. And instead of giving the cylons just super intelligence on it's own, they are written as super intelligent but with a heavily religious bent. It's such a mistake and feels like it limits the stakes of the Cylons and Humans.

Starbuck is really tough, and so is Roslin. But is was stupid from the Cylon to implicate Adama. Let's use some common sense here: even if Cylons look like humans now no one knows since when that is true. It sure wasn't 40 years ago and it's safe to assume they needed a couple decades to get to that point. I even say they have this ability only now because if they had it earlier they would have acted earlier. Adama is probably about 60 and fought in the Cylon war. Was he a Cylon back then already ? I know he said it to create distrust but it should be more cunning then that.

Now, I've watched the whole show before and all the religous stuff didn't bother me then. But it does now, I find it not very interesting. So I guess somewhere between now and the end something will change my opinion.

And I liked the Baltar of the classic show, who openly worked for the Cylons, much more then this whiney version with his sexual fantasies. And the thing is, if his fantasy tells him she loves him. That's really he telling it to himself.
