I think it is becoming apparent that this show went on one too many seasons. In a sense it reminds me of shameless in that it feels like they are just trying to find enough random events to fill an episode rather than having any real story.
I will be sad once this show ends, because even an episode with characters on an airplane - they make it into a captivating story about family and friends
