This season was so much better than the train-wreck that was Season 15. It was a bunch of people that were here to play the game, one of which controlled the game the entire summer. The drama level was SIGNIFICANTLY less than 15, especially once the paranoid Devin was out of the house. America's Team was a pretty cool twist that Derrick, Donny, and Frankie made quite enjoyable. The biggest knocks on the season are that Victoria is arguably the most useless BB player in the history of the show and was almost (probably should have been) in the final two, Caleb's stalkerish love affair with Amber was a bit uncomfortable for a time period, and Christine was probably a bit too hands on with Cody despite being married. Do any of those things trump the good that happened? I don't think so. Seeing Donny be one of the most deserving America's Players in the history of the show was awesome. It was even better with all the other players thinking he was Special Ops and was blatantly lying about who he is. Despite controversially being taken to the final two Derrick played one of the top three all around games in the history of the show. He controlled it from the beginning to the end. Hyped everyone up BEFORE he needed to make a plea. He fed other's egos and made them think they were controlling every decision. It was remarkable to watch. It's not coincidental Cody took him to the end over the sure win with Victoria. Derrick officially won the game once Christine was out of the game. Try to convince me otherwise. If you appreciate good, strategic game-play, you should check out this season.
