[1/10] We waited 14 years for another All-Star season, and we were awarded with a very disappointing season.
The season was mired before it even started with pre-season drama, but the real issues with this season were the micro aggressions and :dart: of POC throughout the season. The long list of comments and incidents that occurred during the live feeds are too long to list here.
Gameplay consisted of the same strategy consistently employed since season 16 of large alliances excluding minorities and steamrolling to the end. While this season contains one of the most dominating wins in the history of the show by Cody Calafiore, production is desperately in need of fresh ideas for casting and gameplay twists to shake up the power within the game.
Not worthy to be called an All-Star season.
So let me start by saying, don't let all the negative hype fool you., this is an enjoyable and solid season. Sure, the first half of the season was predictable and controlled, but the back half of the game truly left me guessing. For being an "all star" season, I ultimately go in and just hope the best player wins the game. That happened this go around. Yet, crazily enough, the other two in the final three were also incredibly deserving. What makes for good "tv season" is a back and forth power struggle where every episode you need to be keeping up. What makes for a good "winner" is control, power, strategy and the win being well deserved. So take that with a grain of salt when determining what you prefer when watching Big Brother. I enjoy the game, I don't care who stays and who goes every week. I think most of the negative flack around this season is some preseason drama, the steamroll at the front, and people losing their favorite houseguests before jury. Some people forget that it is all all stars and not all can get far in the game. You can't hate the season over it. Anyways, I digress, this is a quality year in the game (despite the annoying COVID live shows).

The season hasn't ended but let me warn you that this is the worst season ever! So much hype with the Allstars during the Covid-19 era and yet it is a dud! Alliances made outside of the house, nobody drew a line in the sand, everyone wants to be friends! David the rookie did not belong in the Allstars cast and he was only there to become famous! Such a disappointment!
