Han Seok Joo slips away on a train from the police raid with a lending hand from Ji Soo Hyun. It's the first time they meet, but Soo Hyun knows Seok Joo. With her photographer in an accident, she makes him an offer. Seok Joo accepts, but in return, he asks her to track down her daughter.
With his daughter in the hospital recovering from heart surgery, Seok Joo heads out to work on a tip. He infiltrates Chaeum Clinic and takes photos of Dr. Kim raping one of his celebrity patients. The pictures are promising, but with the leak, Dr. Kim offers to cure his daughter for the pictures. However, Seok Joo ignores Dr. Kim's offer and sends in the photos for publishing.
With the photos desperately needed by Soo Hyun, Seok Joo is taken to a nearby hospital by locals who discovered him half dead. He gets treated, and while still unconscious, the doctor finds Soo Hyun's business card and calls her office. Meanwhile, a man appears at Sunday Syndicate pretending to be Soo Hyun's close friend.
Having obtained Seok Joo's whereabouts, Mr. Kang from Gong Agency sends his men to get the incriminating photographs of his idol stars gambling. However, Seok Joo sees them coming and tries to get away. Meanwhile, knowing that Mr. Kang's men were on to Seok Joo, Soo Hyun reports Seok Joo as a law-breaking paparazzo to the police.
Seeing his talent, Soo Hyun proposes to work together, but Seok Joo declines and walks out. With his daughter's address in his hand, he cleans himself up and buys a bunch of gifts. Meanwhile, Soo Hyun allows a Nara News photographer in her exclusive interview with Jean Paul Lafelt, a renowned fashion designer, in hopes of getting information on Seok Joo in return.
Seok Joo finds Se Eun at the hospital wandering around by herself and gets a chance to talk to her. She suddenly has a seizure and almost loses her life. Crushed and utterly devastated to what he just saw, Seok Joo leaves the hospital. But as he nears the exit, his ex-wife, Min Jung, stops him.
Hangang’s chief of security, Kim Do Hwan, tracks down Soo Hyun and asks to see her with a business proposal. Knowing it was just a front, Soo Hyun still fearlessly appears before him and tells him exactly what she knows. She dismisses his threat and blackmails him instead. Meanwhile, Seok Joo escapes from the hospital.
Seok Joo returns to the long-term care facility after hearing from Soo Hyun that he can save his daughter's life. To up her game, Soo Hyun posts a missing person poster for Jang Joo Hyun, the rookie actress who is trapped in Hangang's chairman's grasp, and then increases the cash reward when Hangang's chief of security, Kim Do Hwan, threatens her to take it down. Meanwhile, Seok Joo determines to break free from alcoholism and conditions his body.
The picture of Jang Joo Hyun doesn't get Seok Joo the heart promised to save Se Eun's life but lands him a full-time job as a paparazzo with the Sunday Syndicate. Although betrayed or misinformed, Seok Joo accepts Soo Hyun's condition to save Se Eun's life. Meanwhile, a popular actor injures himself at a shoot becoming Seok Joo's first mission.
While trying to get a shot of Eun Ho, the injured actor, Seok Joo discovers someone else at the scene taking the shots. He returns to Sunday Syndicate and tells Soo Hyun and Hye Jung, his handler, that the whole thing is a conspiracy. Upon hearing his accounts, Soo Hyun checks the secret diary given to her by Kim Hyung Se, the doctor who committed suicide.
Eun Ho discloses at a press conference that he's battling an illness and will be taking a leave for the time being. Going by what she had seen in her secret diary, Soo Hyun presses the team to get a video of him walking to prove he's faking it. However, when the time comes, things go south for Sunday Syndicate's exclusive team, and the scoop becomes questionable.
Failing to get what she needed from the hospital stakeout, Soo Hyun lures Eun Ho out of the hospital using his longtime girlfriend, Hae Joo, as bait. When Eun Ho meets Hae Joo in secret, they make a getaway from a couple of fangirls and get into a severe accident. At the scene, Seok Joo thinks twice but ends up holding up his end of the deal and takes the photos he needs to save Se Eun.
Since joining Sunday Syndicate as a photographer, Seok Joo shows the team what he's capable of, going to the extreme and delivering what Soo Hyun wants. The team celebrates on his behalf while he goes to the hospital to see from a distance his recovering daughter. Meanwhile, Team Manager Seo Young Mi picks up an anonymous call with a tip-off worth investigating.
An informant's tip-off gets Seok Joo staking out a house that could lead to uncovering an underground sex trade and a drug ring disguised as a talent agency. When the coast is clear, actress Choi Seo Hee brings Seok Joo into the house to set up a camera. Meanwhile, Soo Hyun deals with Cho Hyung Joo who is against going against the target.
When Kim Heung Soon, the CEO of Arong, shows up at Sunday Syndicate to buy the pictures of Prosecutor Nam Jin Suk with Choi Seo Hee, Soo Hyun warns her to stay clear because nothing will stop her from going public. Even Hyung Joon tries to persuade her to hold off on the story but fails. Meanwhile, Seok Joo nurses Seo Hee back to health at the company house.
Myung Ja and Hye Jung go to Heung Soon's club to steal her ledger but miss the chance. Hyung Joon's plan to stop Soo Hyun from publishing the story works, but it doesn't stop Prosecutor Nam from cleaning up his mess, putting Seo Hee in greater danger. Meanwhile, a story erupts about an investigation of a conglomerate's fraudulent accounting.
Sunday Syndicate assembles for a stakeout on a high-profile production director also known as a man with Midas hands. But it's not only Sunday Syndicate who are out working. Seoul District Prosecutors are also out, keeping a close eye on Sunday Syndicate's operation. When the Sunday Syndicate team thinks they got him, a man appears, ruining their chances of getting anything worthwhile.
Sunday Syndicate gives it one more shot, and this time, they get something big. However, without them knowing, the prosecution is right behind them. While reviewing that night's pictures, Seok Joo finally finds what his uneasy conscience was telling him. Realizing that it's a trap, he races to stop Soo Hyun from meeting Ahn Hyung Joon, the production director.
Ahn Young Joon signs a contract with KMC, the production studio Soo Hyun recommended. With his signing, KMC stock prices sky-rocket. However, Seoul District Prosecutors get intel that Cho Hyung Joon of Sunday Syndicate bought a large number of shares before Ahn Young Joon's contract. They decide to move in, and while Seok Joo visits his daughter at the hospital, Soo Hyun to taken away.
The disappearance of Soo Hyun puts Sunday Syndicate in Code Red. They use all resources to find out who took her, but it's Seok Joo who finds footage at the nearby convenience store to figure out that the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office took her. Meanwhile, deputy chief prosecutor, Cha Woo Jin, and prosecutor, Kim Myung Jin, start to interrogate Soo Hyun.
After four days of interrogation, when things don't go as planned, Cha Woo Jin from the prosecution tries to get Soo Hyun to talk by manipulating her thoughts with Hyung Joon's betrayal. Outside the prosecution's office, he tries to get Hyung Joon to work with him by reversely implicating her disloyalty. Meanwhile, Seok Joo takes things in his own hands and attempts to get Soo Hyun out.
Avoiding capture, Seok Joo makes his way to Soo Hyun. But, when he tries to free her and make an escape, she refuses to leave. Instead, she asks him for a favor that will set her free. Meanwhile, Hyung Joon contemplates which side to take.
After realising that Cho Hyung Joon had duped him, Cha Woo Jin is determine to get even by going after the person who is really in charge, Han Seok Joo. Soo Hyun relaxes at her house and considers resigning from her position, leaving Sunday Syndicate in chaos without their chief editor. Later, Hyung Joon visits her to see what she has on her mind.
Things get tense between Soo Hyun and Hyung Joon, both threatening one another, testing each other's loyalty. However, for Sunday Syndicate, the show must go on, and with Seo Young Mi as the temporary chief editor, they go after Jang Soo Young, the leader of an idol group Macaron who has an unusual hobby of taking upskirt photos of female singers. But when the team tries to get close, they end up being the ones getting their picture taken.
With the help of Soo Hyun, the White Haired Witch streams live to the world what she knows about Sunday Syndicate, putting CEO Cho Hyung Joon in high waters. For him, finding and keeping her mouth shut is priority number one, and he resorts to every resource he has to do so. Meanwhile, Se Eun's condition worsens and gets expedited for surgery.
The police commissioner agrees to help Hyun Joon track down the White Haired Witch but is outwit by Soo Hyun. And with the second broadcast of her mini-series in destroying Sunday Syndicate, the White Haired Witch reveals more than enough to stir up a dilemma. The prosecution gets anxious and issues a search warrant, and Soo Hyun deals with Oh Chae Rin, the actress who was involved in Dr. Kim Hyung Se's scandal, at her house.
The White Haired Witch's latest broadcast triggers the prosecution and the police to raid Sunday Syndicate for their life-giving photos. But, inadvertently, it also reveals Soo Hyun as the partner in crime in destroying the company. Meanwhile, CEO Cho Hyung Joon prepares for the worst and figures out a way to save what makes him who he is today.
The police cut out the power to the office, but it doesn't stop Cho Hyung Joon from getting what he needs before anyone can get to him. When he attempts to escape through a secret passage, Seok Joo is waiting from him at the exit. Meanwhile, the prosecution takes Soo Hyun into custody for the second time.
Seok Joo gets offered to be the CEO of Sunday Syndicate, and in return, is to delete incriminating photographs as directed. He agrees only after getting his conditions met. As the new CEO and with his name cleared, he starts to dig into the day that destroyed his life.
The CEO of Nara News, Na Seok Hoon, apologizes to Seok Joo for what he had done to him. Soo Hyun goes to see Chae Rin and tries to get her to tell her who the person she was afraid of, but Chae Rin tells her to be careful. Meanwhile, Seok Joo agrees to help Seok Hoon with an immensely big scoop.
Na Seok Hoon fills in Seok Joo with how much power he has in his hands and tells him Mayor Kim is the only one left for him to grasp. When he sends Kim Mi Jin, Mayor Kim's sexual harassment informant, Sunday sets up a plot using her as an actress. Meanwhile, Hyung Joon escapes from the hospital and sends an incriminating photograph to the police commissioner.
Mayor Kim finds himself in a crisis because of a Sunday's photo. He begs Seok Joo to let him meet Seok Hoon. When Mayor Kim meets Seok Hoon, he implores him to let him off this once. While Seok Hoon is talking with Mayor Kim, Seok Hoon gets a call from Dong Shik. He soon realizes he was set up and gets furious at Seok Joo.
