These episodes are getting shorter and shorter. Looking forward to the 11 minute season finale.
After some episodes of not feeling it this season, this one surprises me with how engaging it is. Maybe my favorite this season, the still-circular writing of Mary Louise asides (even as Streep remains fun). Celeste's impending court case really brings together so many characters and storylines, and makes for an unusally cohesive episode. Almost the whole cast gets a chance to shine this ep, even the kids. Kidman is exquisite as usual.

This episode belongs to Nicole Kidman mostly. All of the scenes with her kids were breathtaking. The level of calmness but also fury about Mary Louise combined with the mother's protection, I mean, it just flows on Nicole's face expressions, which are on top of the game.
Also a side note for Shailene with the scene of trying to have sex and not be able to. It really showed the trauma and the difficulty of not wanting to live with that in her life.
A very good episode indeed.
