A good show. A bit too crazy for me and the characters were a little bit shallow except the main one but thats not enough. The friends were all stereotypically crazy (supposed to be funny which it sometimes was). Her love interest is ok but the villain who is this manipulative women who pretends to be god is a good idea but they dont really show how she manipulates which is quite disappointing because the viewer fails to understand how Jasper gets into the whole mess.
I kind of enjoyed the first season but season 2 was a let down and some character choices had Nothing to do with last season

I enjoyed this show. Somehow I thought it would be more science-fictiony. Should have read the description/synopsis a little better. It is a German show so it does tend to get a little slow in places, but there is a good story there. And it set itself up for a 2nd season so lets hope that happens.

Surprisingly very good show! Plus the season ends with a cliffhanger making you want more!! I hope this show gets renewed!!
Season 1 was good. The entertainment value was enough to overlook some of the quirks (plot cracks, we'll say). I was excited to watch S2, and it started fairly well. Then, it quickly fell apart. I only finished it because I had made it that far.
Some mystery around characters is great, and I applaud the show for not using plot armor too heavily. However, the way they present problems and solutions one after another gets old fast.
Especially toward the end of season 2 when Mia and Jasper infiltrate the lab. So von Fürstenberg didn't notice that he had a different phone? I seem to recall he was in active communication with someone and so would have likely been checking his phone constantly. Then, it just becomes unrealistic: Jasper parks his car BY THE GATE and hops the fence. There is a lucky fire in the lab and this secret lab has a fire alarm, yet no sprinklers. I digress.
I couldn't keep track of everything wrong with the show. Mia is seemingly superhuman, and the baddies are not very observant. That being said, I did park my butt for 2 seasons, so it was at least good enough to keep me watching. Although...
I watched this in part to grow my German language skills, and I did pick up some nice slang! Perhaps, if it was in English, I wouldn't have continued to watch.
I don't get how you make a show about crispr and make it this shit, the script is disgustingly written I mean every interaction feels forced and all of the conversations were cringe take notes from charite thats how u make a good medical tv show

Especially Mia and Dr. Lorenz have a terribly annoying way of speaking - Like 99% of all german shows, the spoken word just isn't believable because it is overtly theatralic - no one speaks like that!
Also: Declinations are obviously wrong in many occasions (sometimes really simple declinations) and the lazyness of the writers shows: Whenever it gets technical, the character starts saying and ends with "and all that stuff" (or something simmilar) which destroys the last shred of believability the characters had left.
Another great TV show from Netflix! With this kind of ending, I hope that Netflix will give us a good season 2
The plot often reaches a level of absurdity that is almost unbearable and surely takes some of the thrill away, but I can't say it wasn't entertaining.
Well imagined, well written and well performed. It treads a careful line between science, drama and thriller. Unfortunate title. Once again, I highly recommend you listen to Netflix series in their original language with English subtitles. I give this series a 7 (good) out of 10. [Drama]
This show reminds me of the film Anatomy II, but with a female villain. All in all it is good entertainment. Some scenes are barely credible, e.g. how Jasper finds out that the others are going to Berlin (the spectators don’t know about that). I suppose German series need better authors. The authors research on biohacking was rather superficial. On the other hand, I liked the sound track and the music.
